2025 Honda Odyssey
The 2025 Honda Odyssey is a minivan produced by Japanese automaker Honda. The 2025 Honda Odyssey is at its best, with high performance, good fuel economy, well-thought-out features, a roomy, flexible interior, and generous standard equipment. The 2025 Honda Odyssey is an eight-passenger minivan offered in EX, EX-L, Sport, Touring, and Elite trim levels. The 3.5-liter V6 engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission to power the front wheels.
The cabin doesn’t have many of the technical features found in rivals like the Chrysler Pacifica or Kia Carnival, but the Odyssey’s infotainment package more than meets the requirements. There’s an optional rear-seat entertainment system that not only keeps teens occupied but also features a dash camera that sees the rear quarters and a PA system that allows parents to talk to teens through their headsets or vehicle speakers, be careful kids, now parents have eyes in the back of their heads.
2025 Honda Odyssey : Interior
Inside, the 2025 Odyssey has a spacious and comfortable cabin, the three rows are roomy and reasonably comfortable, the materials are luxurious and the infotainment system is intuitive. The Odyssey has a quiet cabin that helps keep parents calm. The available in-cabin camera and PA system help maintain parental control, and the home’s power outlets and HDMI interface keep parental options open. The Odyssey’s second and third rows are among the roomiest in the class. The second-row Magic Slide seats are much more comfortable than the Pacifica’s Stow-and-Go second-row seats, and Honda’s chairs can move both side-to-side and fore-and-aft, allowing for multiple configurations.
All Honda Odyssey features an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system called Display Audio. The software allows customization of the menu layout and smartphone connectivity not only via Bluetooth but also via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features. Both the Touring and Elite come standard with a rear-seat entertainment system with built-in streaming apps. The Odyssey’s cargo space fluctuates slightly depending on trim and seating configuration. This Honda has 32.8 to 38.6 cubic feet of space behind the third row, 86.6 to 92.3 cubic feet behind the second row, and a maximum of 140.7 to 158 cubic feet behind the front seats. These are great numbers for a minivan. However, the second-row seats do not fold into the floor and must be removed completely to achieve maximum space.
The Odyssey has three rows of seats and can seat up to eight passengers. Every row is comfortable and spacious. While the first two rows are best suited to adults, the third row can also comfortably accommodate adults. This is not always the case in three-row vehicles. One notable feature is the Magic Slide second-row seats, which can slide left and right, tilt forward and back, or be removed entirely to create a variety of seating and cargo configurations.
2025 Honda Odyssey : Engine
The only engine available in any Odyssey is a 3.5-liter V-6 that produces 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Modest numbers for a 4,500-pound hauler, but Honda engineers tuned the ten-speed automatic for optimal reflexes. The result is a happily driving, quick-footed, efficient, and polished lover. The Odyssey changes direction so clearly that drivers may forget to use the three-row passenger cabin, and it remains the best-driving entry in the segment.
Every Odyssey provided a comfortable ride, 18-inch wheels fitted to the EX-L trim we tested gave us more insulation from bad asphalt than the 19-inch wheels on the top Elite trim. According to the EPA, the Odyssey is rated at 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. In real-world highway testing, the test vehicle achieved 30 mpg, beating the EPA estimate, long-term Pacifica managed 33 mpg.
