2020 Nissan Armada : Interior
Inside, the Armada is not 100 inside as the exterior suggests, the front seats provide a nice room, but the rear seats feel cramped in the attic and the nails when there’s a tall front. It’s too bad because the second row doesn’t tell. The third line is good but really good for kids. This Nissan is a long SUV, with side steps, open doors, and removable grip aids in getting inside. Once inside, you will find a high-end driving area that may not be as efficient as you would like. Visibility, on the other hand, is by far the best thanks to the large Armada windows.
The infotainment system screen contains interactive graphics, controls, and menus that are difficult to understand, and difficult to analyze in your music library. Good luck finding a specific podcast episode, for example. Map data is not easily upgraded either. Apple CarPlay integration with Android Auto integration doesn’t exist, which was fixing many of these problems. News is much better when it comes to driver assistance features. Adaptive and automatic emergency response assistance is common in all models. Platinum comes with standard navigation assistance, ProPilot Aid, sightseeing, rear-wheel-drive awareness with braking intervention, a 360-degree camera, and more.
2020 Nissan Armada : Engine
All Nissan Armada trims use a 5.6-liter V8 engine (390 power, 394 lb-ft of torque) paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Wheelchair driving is standard, and a four-wheel drive is optional. Armada’s trim finishes begin on the SV, climb into the mid-grade SL, and finish with almost fully loaded Platinum. Although the Armada has impressive acceleration, it has no engine options, and its passing power is excellent rivals. However, its 390-hp V0 8 has a satisfying effect that is especially noticeable in cities. Its EPA ratings and real-world test results are far less than the competitors we’ve tested. The all-wheel-drive model matches its 18-mpg highway speed on our 200-meter test track.
2020 Nissan Armada : Safety
Armada received a four-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration but has not yet been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Other important safety features include automatic emergency placement, traffic alert, and road-keeping assistance, blind monitoring, and background alert. Every model has an abundance of driving assistance technology such as advanced collision and automation braking emergency.
