2020 Cadillac Escalade
The 2020 Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV designed and manufactured by Cadillac. Cadillac’s first major entry into the popular SUV market is called “Sport Utility Vehicle”, although it meets all the specifications to be considered a truck. The Escalade was set up for the 1999 model year in response to German and Japanese competitors and Ford’s launch of the Lincoln Navigator in 1998. The Escalade project was only taken 10 months after it was approved. The 2020 Escalade is built in Arlington, Texas. The word “escalade” refers to a siege warfare tactic to scale defensive walls or walls using ladders or belts.
The 2020 Escalade EXT sports utility was launched in 2002 by the Cadillac department of General Motors. The 2020 Escalade uses an all-aluminum 6.2 L Vortec V8. This pushrod engine features variable valve timing, a first in a mass-produced non-overhead engine. The system applies both intake and outlet time between the two settings. The engine produces 403 hp (301 kW) (23 hp more than its sister rival, the GMC Yukon Denali) and 417 lb·ft (565 N·m) torque. A new 6-speed 6L80 automatic transmission is used. The new body completes a 0.6363 tensile coefficient. In 2010, the Cadillac Escalade’s base price was $ 62,500 for an RWD model and $ 65,200 for an AWD model. The northeast represents 60 percent of Escalade sales. 2013 model has an official government’s average fuel consumption of 14 mpg-US (17 L / 100 km) combined with 16 mpg-US (15 L / 100 km) and highway 18 mpg-US (13 L / 100 km).
