2021 Maserati Ghibli : Interior
Inside, several of its interiors are derived from fewer vehicles in the Fiat-Chrysler product portfolio. The Ghibli ranks fifth, just like its competitors, although the footroom is the smallest in the segment. Compared to the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, all three of these cars offer at least 3.0-inch front and rear foot seats, compared to the Ghibli’s 37.7 and 33.2 inches, respectively. In terms of cargo space, Ghibli’s 17.7 cubic-foot trunk is smaller than the A6 and E-Class 13.7 and 13.1 cubic feet, but the BMW trunk lacks 18.7 cubic feet. Each Ghibli has a 10.1-inch touchscreen entertainment system with Maserati’s navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto as standard. The standard audio is an eight-speaker system, but the GranLusso and GranSport trims include a 10-speaker Harman Kardon sound, and the 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system is available as a standalone option.
Maserati Ghibli 2021 Engine
The Maserati used to offer six-cylinder power just under the hood of the Ghibli, but the new Trofeo variant will replace it. Each Ghibli uses eight-speed automation and both RWD and AWD are available. The engine is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6. On the RWD standard Ghibli alone, it produces 345 horsepower and 369 pound-of-torque, which Maserati says is 0-60 better in 5.5 seconds. Under the cover of the RWD Ghibli S and AWD Ghibli S Q4, it produced 424 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque, reducing the 0-60 drop to 4.9 and 4.7 seconds, respectively. Fuel savings for RWD V-6 models are rated at 17/25 mpg city/highway and AWD cars return at 16/24 mpg.
The modern feature is the Ghibli Trofeo model, based on the engine version found on the Quattroporte GTS. Trofeo’s 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 Ferrari delivers 580 horsepower and 538 pounds of torque, and the Maserati equals 0-60 seconds to 4.0 seconds. Ghibli Trofeo is supplied with RWD only and operates at an EPA level of 13/20 mpg.
