2022 Ford Maverick
The 2022 Ford Maverick is a compact pickup produced by Ford. The Ford Maverick 2022 will go on sale in three basic trim levels. The Maverick is based on the same platform as the front-wheel drive, along with the Ford Escape and Bronco Sport, and is equipped with a hybrid power transmission as standard. All models will have a 4.5-footbed of the same four-door crew cabin. The Maverick is part of a new class of small trucks that Hyundai will include along with the upcoming Santa Cruz.
Ford Maverick is produced at the Hermosillo stamping and built plant in Mexico, along with Bronco Sport for the North and South American automotive markets. The 2022 Maverick is available in three trim levels: LX, XLT, and Lariat, the limited edition First Edition model is also available for sale based on Lariat trim. 2022 Ford Maverick : Interior
The Mavericks 2022 are all crew cabins, which look like four full-size doors and a back seat. The Ford cabin contained many containers and trash cans, including large areas under the back seat. The basic models are far from cluttered but offer standard control features, such as turn and telescopic steering wheel voice control, remote keyless entry, and lumbar adjustment for the front seats. Additional features are offered in the XLT and Lariat trims as part of a standard or optional set, which includes two-zone automatic climate control, interior lighting, and front seats.
Ford said the Mavericks 4.5-footbed can fit up to 18 sheets of 18-ply, three-quarter-inch 4×8-foot plywood without loading in the corner. The bed also has a 12-volt PowerPoint, and a 110-volt socket is offered as an option. The 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is standard in all of Maverick’s decorations. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard features, and even the base model is equipped with an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. SiriusXM satellite radio, B&O Play stereo system, and wireless charging of the smartphone are available.
2022 Ford Maverick : Engine
The Ford 2022 Maverick trims will be powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces a combined 191-horsepower (194 PS; 142 kW) and e-CVT gearbox, is standard equipment on all Maverick models, with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder. The gasoline engine is optional. The turbo engine produces 250 horsepower (253 PS; 186 kW) and 277 lb-ft (376 N⋅m; 38.3 kg⋅m) of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All Maverick models use a rotary push-button gearbox located in the center console. The front-wheel drive is standard on all models, only the wheel drive is optional for the EcoBoost options. The EPA did not publish fuel savings calculations for Maverick, and we were not able to test the truck’s fuel economy at 75 mph. Ford said the Maverick hybrid can deliver up to 40 mpg in the city.
