2022 Scion iM
The 2022 Scion iM / 2022 Toyota iM is a five-passenger hatchback that is offered in a single well-equipped trim level. 2022 Scion iM / 2022 Toyota iM comes with standard features including 17-inch alloy wheels, LED running lights, automatic headlights, powerful folding heated mirrors, full-power accessories, keyless ignition and entry, two-zone automatic climate control, leather-wrapped bend, and telescope column. steering wheel, cruise control, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, rearview camera, Bluetooth phone, and audio connection, 7-inch touch screen, and a six-speaker stereo with HD radio, AHA streaming Internet radio, and USB interface.
The Scion iM has a good interior with good quality materials and an attractive style for class. The front seats have enough space for tall passengers, but the rear seats are narrow for adults. The Scion iM comes with three connecting anchors and two lower anchors to ensure child safety seats. The 2016 iM has some impressive features that are not standard in many competitors, such as the 7-inch touch screen, Pioneer stereo, and rearview camera. The touch screen responds quickly to inputs and the stereo produces excellent sound quality.
2022 Scion iM : Interior
The interior of the Scion iM 2022 is competitive with other hatchbacks in terms of modern design and quality of materials and is truly far superior to anything that has worn the Scion logo before. There are plenty of soft touches and padded surfaces, and the center console has a padded area for the driver’s foot, especially with the simulated leather upholstery. We are also fans of the standard 7-inch touch screen, which has easy-to-reach, responsive menus and reacts very quickly. The standard two-zone automatic climate control is another nice touch.
Tall drivers will have enough head and foot space, but there is an extra telescopic distance on the steering wheel. The back seat is less pleasant, as the head and foot distance, which is below average, is sufficient for this segment. The cargo capacity is slightly smaller than other hatchbacks in this class, with only 20.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats. But the cargo area is very wide and the upright hatch provides extended space for larger items. The front view is good due to the retractable front window and narrow roof columns, but the small rear hatch window makes for a small and large connection to the rearview camera. There are no blind mirrors or warning systems or other driver warning systems.
2022 Scion iM : Engine
The 137-horsepower four-cylinder engine powers the 2016 iM and provides enough acceleration for daily driving. The six-speed manual transmission is standard and has a continuously variable automatic transmission. IM has strong brakes and manages turns well. Its driving dynamics should be good for most buyers, but the iM isn’t as exciting to drive as its sports rivals like the Mazda3. According to the EPA, the iM reaches 28 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway with automatic transmission. Average fuel numbers for this class.
2022 Scion iM : Safety
For 2023 Scion iM, a first aid kit, as well as LATCH connectors for child seats, are provided in the rear seats, and there are wired connections for three seats. Not close enough to the iM Corolla to extend our safety results, but the latest Corolla performed very well in crash tests and Euro NCAP tests for Europe, and the iM-based Auris worked very well. Standard safety features for the 2022 Scion iM include anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, driver’s knee airbag, and front passenger seat airbags.
