2023 Aston Martin Vantage
The 2023 Aston Martin Vantage is a luxury car. The Aston Martin Vantage is a two-seater sports car manufactured by British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin. The 2023 Vantage is available as a fixed-roof coupe or a convertible. The Aston Martin Vantage isn’t available in trim levels, but you can customize it with dozens of options, colors, interior materials, and various upgrades.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage models will be powered by a twin-turbo V-8 that produces over 500 horsepower, while a lucky few buyers will get an even more powerful twin-turbo V-12. Aston claims a zero-to-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, which might be conservative. Unfortunately, the order book for this special model is already closed and only 333 units will be produced.
The interior is comfortable and while the Vantage lacks a relative luxury for its six-figure price tag, it can be customized with a few high-end options. Still, with such sleek styling and exciting moves, the Vantage is a highly desirable driver’s car with an iconic heritage.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage : Interior
Inside, Vantage: Aston Martin offers luxury options such as a full leather interior, heated and ventilated seats, a carbon fiber steering wheel, embroidered headrests, and a few different options for interior trim, among many other features. The infotainment system is based on an old Mercedes-Benz system, and somehow the company’s designers made things worse than they should have been. From the casual-looking placement of the modest-sized screen to the control knob that doesn’t have enough room on the sides for effective operation, the Vantage is sure to disappoint anyone comfortable with its German rivals.
The cockpit is comfortable for two but covered in leather and faux suede. Likewise, sports seats with power and memory settings are offered as standard. Still, the luxury experience is diminished by poor soundproofing on the highway. Apart from a shallow center console box and door pockets, there is little interior storage space as well. The 8.0-inch display protrudes from the top of the instrument cluster and is primarily controlled via the rotary knob and switches in the center console.
The Vantage’s infotainment system also includes an Aston Martin sound system, Bluetooth compatibility, and onboard navigation. Popular features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are not available, though an upgraded audio system and touchpad are optional. The Vantage convertible benefits from a smaller convertible rooftop. This helps the truck’s capacity stay the same regardless of whether the top is up or down. The plush carpeted trunk can easily hold a golf bag or a week’s worth of groceries without a hitch. By comparison, the BMW M8 Convertible offers a larger trunk but sacrifices much of that when you lower the roof.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage : Engine
The regular Vantage comes with a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 (503 horsepower, 505 lb-ft of torque) and an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The special F1 version increases power to 527 horsepower. The new V12 Vantage uses a 5.2-liter 12-cylinder engine paired with the same transmission. Among other things, the V12 Vantage is slightly larger to accommodate the larger engine and suspension design. The EPA estimates the Vantage Roadster will get 20 mpg in combined driving (18 cities/24 highways), which is very good for a high-end luxury sports car. It has seen a reliable 20.7 mpg on our 115-mile evaluation route, which included parts of aggressive driving and plenty of highway miles.
2023 Aston Martin Vantage : Safety
It’s unlikely that the Aston Martin Vantage will be tested by Euro NCAP, but it goes without saying that the Vantage will be designed and built to exacting standards. Standard safety equipment includes driver, passenger, and curtain airbags, as well as a set of large brakes, a stability control system, and emergency brake assist.
