2024 Lamborghini Huracan
The 2024 Lamborghini Huracan is a sports car by Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini that replaces its previous V10 offering, the Gallardo. The 2024 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 designation comes from the 610 metric horsepower and 4-wheel drive car, while LP stands for Longitudinale Posteriore, which refers to the longitudinal mid-rear engine position.
The Huracan faces a group of tough exotic rivals, industry wonders like the Ferrari F8 Tributo, 296GTB and 812 Superfast, McLaren 765LT and McLaren 720S, and the Aston Martin DBS, but just as attractive. The 2024 Huracán Lamborghini is the only car in this out-of-this-world group powered by a naturally aspirated V-10, providing a huge dose of aural uniqueness that is integral to the Lambo’s appeal.
Lamborghini continues to reinvigorate it with highly desirable variants, including an all-new Tecnica model for 2023. The Lamborghini Huracán lineup sees the addition of the Tecnica model for 2024, which offers a road-friendly dose of the enticing tactility offered by the hard STO. pallet killer variant, but at a more reasonable price point.
2024 Lamborghini Huracan : Interior
The interior of the 2024 Huracán is an intricate design with a variety of technical pieces, some for show and many for travel. The cabin can also be customized with different color options and different material options. Supportive seats are bisected by a partially floating center console with cool toggle switches and an interesting push-button shifter. However, aside from some wicket door pockets, the Huracán has virtually no interior storage. There is also a front trunk that can hold passenger luggage but only for those carrying light items.
Unlike most cars, the Lamborghini Huracan 2024 model’s infotainment features are arguably the least interesting thing about a six-figure supercar. Lamborghini equips the Huracán with an 8.4-inch touchscreen that controls functions like the audio system, climate settings, and other media content. Along with Apple CarPlay capability, the Lambo has Amazon Alexa integration, which provides voice control technology that should theoretically reduce distraction-driven driving.
2024 Lamborghini Huracan : Engine
The 5.2-liter V-10 engine produced 631 horsepower in all but the rugged Sterrato model, which had a 601-hp version of the V-10. Each Huracán V-10 is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which shifts gears of its own accord or at the command of the driver via a series of gear shifters. The all-wheel drive Evo coupe we tested for the 2020 model year sprinted from zero to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and covered the quarter mile at 135 mph in 10.4 seconds. The EPA has not released fuel economy estimates for the 2023 Tecnica or STO, rating the EVO models as 13 in the city and 18 on the highway for a combined rating of 15 mpg.
2024 Lamborghini Huracan : Safety
The Huracan lacks the driver assistance technology commonly found in more ordinary vehicles. Instead, the Huracan thoroughbred supercar has a host of performance boosts that help the driver maintain control at triple-digit speed. It would take an engineering encyclopedia to fully explain these myriad features, but the 2024 Lamborghini Huracan’s advanced chassis and sophisticated drivetrain are definitions of high technology.
