The 2024 Jaguar XK is a two-door 2+2 grand tourer manufactured and marketed by British automaker Jaguar Cars. The 2024 Jaguar XK is a combination of luxury, power, and beauty. The 2025 XJ has a low, wide stance, a long waistline, and a flat front grille with mesh detailing. There are also LED headlights and LED taillights with a strip line. Alongside the supercharged V8, the XKR adds 19-inch wheels, a stiffer suspension with retuned adaptive settings, retuned steering, larger front brakes, adaptive headlights, an aluminum mesh grille, quad exhaust pipes, and more aggressively padded front seats. All Jaguar XKs feature a variety of wheel designs, adaptive lighting, adaptive cruise control, upgraded front seats with higher quality leather, satellite radio, and a premium Alpine surround sound system.

The Jaguar XK interior is a dramatic departure from the traditional Jaguar look, with a modern dashboard design and the presence of aluminum cladding instead of wood. This serves to bring the Jaguar into the 21st century, but some might argue that a jag-less Jag looks like a mustacheless Tom Selleck. Unfortunately, Jaguar’s trend towards lower-market plastics continues, adding to an overall ambiance that doesn’t quite match the price tag. Also, the multi-purpose touchscreen, which controls the audio, navigation, and air conditioning systems, can work a bit. With an on-screen interface that was simple and intuitive in concept, but neither sensitive enough nor accurate found it frustrating in practice.

On the other hand, while the two-position rear seat is still only suitable for small children or emergency use, the XK is much more adaptable than the older XK8. The convertible’s soft top does an excellent job of soundproofing when up, and it disappears under a blanket of hard tonneau in just 18 seconds at the push of a button. The trunk of the XK coupe can hold about 11 cubic feet of cargo. With the top open, the XK Convertible can still hold 8 cubic feet.
2024 Jaguar XK : Engine
The standard Jaguar XK is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine producing 300 hp and 310 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. During testing, we accelerated the coupe from zero to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, while the convertible sprinted in 6.3 seconds. The XKR features an inflated supercharged version of the same engine that produces 420 hp and 412 lb-ft of torque. Our test of an XKR Convertible revealed a time of 4.9 seconds at 0-60, and the coupe was a few clicks faster.
2024 Jaguar XK : Safety
The Jaguar XK comes with front-seat side airbags, shock-reducing front seats, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and stability control. The standard XK’s stability control system is two-stage; one of which gives the driver more responsibility for the handling of the car before the system is activated. The setup is similar to the XKR, but its system gives the driver more room to move and allows him to disable it entirely if desired. All 2023 Jaguar XK convertibles have two aluminum rims that automatically engage in the event of a rollover accident.
