2023 Kia Rondo
The 2023 Kia Rondo is a small people transporter offered for sale in Australia by KIA. The 2023 Kia Rondo is a minivan-like wagon with front-opening rear doors. Kia Rondo is getting power boosts for both of its current engines, and the four-cylinder engine is also seeing an increase in fuel economy. Both trim levels are now available with either engine. Satellite radio and roof rails are now standard, while a navigation system and an iPod connector make their first appearance in the options list.

The standard content on both LX and EX rigs has also been changed. Five seats are standard on the base LX, while a third row is optional on the LX and standard on the high-end EX. The 2023 Rondo LX base comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels, roof rails, air conditioning, full power accessories, keyless entry, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and a four-speaker stereo with CD. player, satellite radio, auxiliary audio jack, and USB audio jack.

The LX Plus package adds 16-inch alloy wheels, floor mats, and heated front seats. The 2023 Rondo EX includes this equipment but replaces 17-inch alloy wheels and adds fog lights, leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped wheel and gear knob. The Kia 2023 EX Premium package adds an upgraded eight-speaker stereo with a sunroof, navigation system, touchscreen interface, and six-CD changers. An iPod adapter is optional on all Rondos.

The Kia Rondo’s easy-to-use climate controls consist of three simple buttons, with a minimum of clearly marked buttons on the stereo dash. The instruments are also large and easy to read. For a car in Rondo’s price range, the build quality is impressive and the build quality is excellent. Sitting in the Rondo, you immediately notice the enormous headroom and impressive visibility provided by the high roof. More driver seat adjustments would be fine for taller drivers, but most will find the front two rows roomy with comfortable underarms. The current third-row seat is designed for children and requires the second row to be shifted forward, limiting legroom for three to five passengers. Still, this third row is pretty easy to access. The cargo area is cavernous when both rear rows are lowered, but understandably pathetic when both are raised.
2023 Kia Rondo : Engine
The Kia Rondo power comes from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. It produces 175 hp and 167 pound-feet of torque in most of the country, but in the emissions states of California, the SULEV-rated four-cylinder engine produces 167 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. It is a four-speed automatic, transmission only. The EPA estimated fuel economy for this engine is 20 mpg urban/27 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg combined. Optional is a 2.7-liter V6 that produces 192 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque regardless of where you buy it. A five-speed automatic is standard. The EPA estimated fuel economy is 18/26/21 mpg.

Anti-lock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags, full-size side curtain airbags, and stability control are standard on the Kia Rondo. The 2023 Kia Rondo received five stars for front and side driver protection and four stars for side rear protection in official crash tests.
