Inside, the interior is elegant, modern, and very well made with excellent quality materials. Soft leather adorns the seats and armrests, elegant wood and nickel-plated metal trim are tastefully applied to the dash and doors, and most of the A6’s secondary controls are handled with great flair. -Responsive panel below the main infotainment screen. A similar system is used in the Audi A8 luxury sedan and Audi Q8 crossover, and despite our usual complaints about touchscreen controls taking over, it works well and provides satisfying tactile feedback. Its spacious trunk and easily foldable rear seat backs make the A6 ideal for carrying cargo.

Audi’s well-known MMI infotainment interface gets a big change in this version of the A6. No longer uses the click wheel controller on the center console, but offers reconfigurable menus so users can customize the home screen layout to their tastes. A 10.1-inch screen, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in Wi-Fi are standard; All models also feature Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument display. A 10-speaker audio system is standard, recommend the 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen setup that comes standard on Premium Plus and Prestige models.

The Audi S6 features a powerful 444-horsepower twin-turbo V6 that can accelerate the sedan from zero to 60 mph in just 4 seconds.

The Audi A6 gets an EPA-estimated 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, that’s good numbers for a midsize luxury car, especially considering the A6 comes standard with all-wheel drive. A6 with the 3.0-liter V6 engine achieves 21/30 mpg in the city/highway, the S6 gets 19/26 mpg city/highway, while the Audi RS 6 Avant gets 14/21 mpg.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Audi A6 an overall safety score of five out of five, with five stars in the side crash and rollover tests and four stars in the frontal crash test. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has yet not rated the 2025 A6. Hope 2025 models also will earn the best rating or the second-highest rating of Acceptable for how well the headlights illuminate the road ahead like the previous year’s model. The Audi A6 comes with advanced driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, it often comes equipped with a suite of airbags and a strong, rigid body structure to protect occupants in case of a collision.
