2025 Buick Enclave
The 2025 Buick Enclave is an ultra-competitive mid-size luxury SUV segment by Buick. The 2025 Buick Enclave stands out for its spacious six or seven-passenger interior, handsome styling, and value-oriented pricing. However, Buick Enclave 2025 falls short in terms of nuance compared to the luxury leaders in its segment. The 2025 Enclave faces competition from vehicles like the Acura MDX, Infiniti QX60, Kia Telluride, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and the Toyota Grand Highlander. Like its rivals, the 2025 Enclave offers a remarkably quiet cabin, a smooth ride, and a standard 3.6-liter V-6 engine that provides sufficient power.
The Buick Enclave series casts a wide net, from family transportation to near-premium luxury. Enclave Avenir is outperformed by rivals, including its cousin, the Cadillac XT6. Buick offers a surprising number of standard amenities, including Wi-Fi, wireless charging, heated leather seats and steering wheel, and six USB ports. It’s recommended to splurge on the Sport Touring package, which replaces the 18-inch wheels with more attractive 20-inch wheels and adds body-colored door handles for a more streamlined look. There’s also a trailering package that increases the maximum tow rating to 5,000 pounds.
2025 Buick Enclave : Interior
The Enclave boasts a spacious, comfortable, and functional interior, comes with many comfort and convenience features and has a stylish design, the quality of materials and attention to detail keeps the Enclave from fully competing with its luxury-branded rivals. The wood trim looks and feels stylish, the optional panoramic roof’s sunshades are not electrically operated, and only the passenger-side second-row seat slides forward to allow third-row passengers to get in and out; This is a clear cost-cutting move. The 2025 Enclave is equipped with an 8.0-inch IntelliLink touchscreen infotainment system as standard equipment, user-friendly, and nicely organized with clear graphics and lots of features.
Navigation is standard on the Premium and Avenir and is available on the base Essence trim. Wireless charging, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are standard, and users can connect their devices to the internet via the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. However, if cargo space is a priority, the Enclave is one of the best options in this segment. A total of 38 carry-on luggage boxes were used in the tests, with the third and second-row seats folded, and five carry-on bags behind the electrically operated third row of seats.
The Enclave is a three-row SUV that seats seven, and all rows can accommodate adults. Head and leg room are larger in the first two rows, and these seats offer the most support and comfort. However, the third-row seats are roomy enough for tall passengers during rapid movements. Kids will have plenty of space to get comfortable. Two complete sets of LATCH connectors are available for the second-row outboard seats. There are also tie-down anchors for each of the third-row seats. Some of the lower anchors are set too deep into the seats, and many of the upper anchors can be confused with other hardware.
2025 Buick Enclave : Engine
The Enclave 2025 variants will equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission for motivation. The V-6 engine produces 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, providing enough power for merging and maintaining a quiet cabin. The Enclave’s suspension is well-sorted, favoring comfort and a luxurious ride over sharp reflexes. The Enclave’s fuel economy is rated at 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway (17 and 25 mpg with all-wheel drive) by the EPA. In a 75-mph highway fuel economy test, the Enclave achieved 25 mpg with all-wheel drive. The suspension is well regulated, but the Enclave knows its audience and favors comfort and luxurious ride over sharp reflexes. The EPA pegs the Enclave’s fuel economy at 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway (17 and 25 with all-wheel drive). Firmly in the midrange of its segment, the all-wheel-drive Enclave Avenir nailed the 25-mpg highway number on the nose in our 75-mph highway fuel economy test, part of our comprehensive testing regimen. Unfortunately, Buick doesn’t have a hybrid powertrain option for the Enclave.
2025 Buick Enclave : Safety
All-wheel-drive models received a five-star overall safety score, while front-wheel-drive models received a four-star overall rating by NHTSA. IIHS awarded with highest rating in crash tests conducted and the second-highest rating of Acceptable in its updated side crash test. The base Essence trim and higher trims of the Enclave come with a host of standard driver-assistance technologies, including automatic emergency braking, blind zone alert, front pedestrian braking, and front and rear parking assist. Adaptive cruise control is only available on higher trims or as part of an optional package. The Buick Enclave is more reliable than the average SUV in its class, but it is surpassed by the Lexus LX in reliability. Overall, the 2025 Buick Enclave has maintained a fine balance between luxury and mainstream vehicles, and the Enclave is a good example of this balance.
