2025 Buick Electra
The 2025 Buick Electra is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured and marketed by Buick. The first of the Buick Electra series will be the 2025 Electra E5 SUV, which will also be sold in China. Powered by General Motors’ Ultium battery platform, the Electra E5 will offer a similar performance and driving range as the Cadillac Lyriq. That works out to about 340 horsepower per charge and a driving range of about 300 miles.
The Electra E5’s interior looks even more spacious than the gas-powered Envision SUV and features a curved 30.0-inch infotainment screen that uses the same technology found in the Cadillac Escalade. The Electra E5 will be Buick’s first electric product when it goes on sale in late 2024. The early Electra models were offered in various body styles, including a six-passenger four-door sedan, two-door sedan, two-door convertible, and five-door station wagon.
Buick designed a stylish interior for its first EV model, and the materials look luxurious, too. Two rows of seats provide seating for up to five people, and multi-color interior ambient lighting allows drivers to personalize the interior’s atmosphere, the front seats look pretty comfortable and the rear seat space looks pretty generous, too.
The massive 30.0-inch display takes up most of the Electra E5′s front panel. The curved screen will most likely be touch-sensitive on the right side, where the infotainment features are located. A 5G Wi-Fi hotspot will be standard, and we also expect to see wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A wireless smartphone charging pad will also likely be available, and we think Buick will also include the Bose premium stereo system as an option.
