2025 GMC Savana
The 2025 GMC Savana is a full-size minivan series produced by General Motors. GMC Savana is also known as Chevrolet Express. The 2025 Savana is available in passenger and cargo versions. The 2025 GMC Savana Passenger Van features an opening passenger-side door, ample storage, and seating for up to 15 passengers, also features safety technology like StabiliTrak®, which helps the driver maintain control during sudden maneuvers. The 2025 GMC Savana Passenger Van has two seating arrangements that can accommodate 12 or 15 passengers. The GMC Savana has a maximum lifespan of approximately 20 years if properly maintained.
The GMC Savana cargo version is ideal for transporting tools and equipment and delivering packages. The passenger version can carry up to 15 passengers. The Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and Ram ProMaster are much more modern and offer a variety of technological advances and interior appointments from this century, but the old Savana outshines them all and wears the lowest base MSRP of the group. Available only as a rear-wheel-drive 2500 or 3500 heavy-duty model and sparsely appointed inside and out, this vehicle is the vehicle equivalent of the pipe wrench: simple, effective, and essentially unchanged since it was made.
2025 GMC Savana : Interior
Savana’s interior focuses on functionality rather than frivolity. Numerous well-marked critical controls dot the large black plastic instrument cluster, and the analog instrument cluster features a large central speedometer flanked by a quartet of auxiliary gauges. Seating is designed for easy entry and exit but is lacking in support. In passenger guise, the standard configuration seats 12 people, but extended-wheelbase models can carry 15 people. Two equipment options are offered.
The Savana LS trim is mid-level and equipped with front and rear air conditioning, power windows, power locks, and AM/FM. Audio system with MP3, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel. The LT trim adds a handful of comfort upgrades, including cloth front seats, carpeted floor coverings, a console with storage, and keyless entry. Cargo vans arrive with unfinished interiors. The space behind the front seats is ready to handle up to 287 cubic feet of payload or can be customized to meet your needs. Unlike its competitors, Savana does not offer a high-ceiling version, and tall users cannot stand up inside. GMC also offers the option of a sliding side door or a double door that’s hinged to open outward, along with some shelving and other storage solutions.
The GMC Savana is the flip phone in a sea of iPads. In fact, for 2024 the Savana does not even offer a touchscreen, which was previously available in the passenger version. However, it includes standard OnStar with a free three-month subscription and an anti-theft system. Wi-Fi hotspots and Bluetooth are offered on both models, as well as the MyGMC mobile app that allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle from your smartphone.
2025 GMC Savana : Engine
GM offers two engines in the Savana: The standard 4.3-liter V-6 produces 276 horsepower and 298 pound-feet of torque. The optional 6.6-liter V-8 increases power to 401 horsepower and an impressive 464 pound-feet. feet of torque, both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2500 and 3500 versions of the standard-length wheelbase Savana passenger van offer the highest tow rating: 9,600 pounds when equipped with the 6.6-liter V-8 and optional trailering equipment package. The GMC Savana heavy-duty classification does not receive a fuel economy rating from the EPA. This also applies to its Chevy Express sibling and the heaviest-duty 2500 and 3500 pickups.
2025 GMC Savana : Safety
GMC offers a good base list of standard driver-assist technology on the GMC Savana, but forward collision warning and lane departure warning are standard only on the LT. Side blind-spot monitoring is also available, and a backup camera is standard.
