2024 Acura NSX
The 2024 Acura NSX is a two-seat mid-engine coupe sports car manufactured by Honda. The 2024 Acura NSX offers fast acceleration, well-balanced driving dynamics, and comfortable seats, as well as ordinary cabin materials, an outdated infotainment system, a small trunk, and a few active safety features. The 2024 NSX features a powerful V6 hybrid powertrain that delivers exhilarating acceleration, complete with vibrant handling and a cushioned ride.
The interior is spacious, the seats are comfortable all day, and the Acura NSX 2024 is backed by an above-average warranty. On the downside, the NSX has mediocre cabin materials, a cumbersome infotainment system, a small trunk, and a very high price tag. Heated and electrically adjustable seats are standard and upholstered in Alcantara accent leather. It has full leather upholstery. The NSX does not have LATCH car-seat connectors or a backseat. We do not recommend installing a child car seat on the front seat of any vehicle.
2024 Acura NSX : Interior
Inside, the 2024 NSX is comfortable and intuitive enough for absolutely anyone to use as a daily driver. The cabin lacks the premium feel and luxury amenities expected of an Acura, let alone competing with the best of the UK and Germany. The NSX car featured optional leather and faux suede seats, faux suede headlining and a carbon fiber trimmed steering wheel. The bright red leather appealed to the younger ones among our staff, but some found it garish and childish. While the seats are comfortable, we would have preferred more thigh support, and enthusiastic drivers will likely want more lateral support.
A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated navigation comes standard and connects to an ELS Studio nine-speaker stereo system. As with some other interior parts, the touchscreen system is from smaller Acuras and Hondas, and the same complaints we had about them apply here. The system’s interface already looks outdated and we found the menu setup to be unintuitive. Worse still, the lack of extra buttons and the cumbersome touch-sensitive volume slider that makes precise adjustments difficult add an extra layer of complexity.
2024 Acura NSX : Engine
The 2024 NSX Type S is available with a 600-horsepower hybrid powertrain with all-wheel drive. This includes a twin-turbo V6 engine, an electric motor, a nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission mounted at the rear of the car, and two front-mounted electric motors. The NSX hybrid system runs smoothly, taking the NSX off the line and accelerating with commanding thrust. The V6 pulls eagerly up to the red line and is powered by the instant torque of the electric motors.
The throttle response is instantaneous, and the dual-clutch automatic transmission provides fast but smooth gear changes, even in stop-and-go driving, which isn’t always the case with this type of transmission. The EPA hasn’t delivered mileage appraisals for the 2024 NSX, yet the precisely comparative NSX gets an EPA-evaluated 21 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the roadway. That’s terrible gas mileage by hybrid standards, but it’s actually quite fuel-efficient compared to competitors with similar engine performance like the Mercedes-AMG GT.
2024 Acura NSX : Safety
The NSX’s lack of driver assistance features may be a concern for safety-minded consumers, but a comprehensive standard airbag system provides an acceptable level of protection. Neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash-tested the 2022 NSX. This is common for high-end luxury cars. Standard safety and driver assistance features are automatic high beams, a rearview camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
