2020 Audi RS5
The 2020 Audi RS5 Coupe and the 2020 Audi RS5 Sportback variants are updated by Audi. The 2020 Audi RS5 2020 exterior design is more efficient. Functionally, both models rely on new MMI touch technology with a large central screen. The twin-turbo V6 emits 331 kW (450 PS) and 600 N.m (442.5 lb-ft) of torque continues to ensure excellent driving performance. The advanced infotainment system for MMI navigation plus uses a new primary unit, the third-generation infotainment platform (MIB 3), for its many functions. The Audi connection portfolio adds many online services to navigation.
The refined exterior design of these two Audi 2020 RS5 models is noticeable at first glance. The single frame is wide and flat. With this clean look, it follows the design of its big brothers, the Audi RS6 and the Audi RS7. The included air intake above the grille is reminiscent of an ancient Audi Sport Quattro from 1984. The army rings, which are about 40 mm (1.6 in) wide, give the RS5 a stunning look. Matrix optional LED headlights with an Audi laser light fixture are equipped with black bezels, which clearly set the two RS models apart from the basic A5 model. The big wind tunes with clean energy have been given a new, sophisticated tradition.
The side cables and diffuser fittings on the rear end, which include the two main cables for the exhaust system, have also been redesigned. Black packages, black aluminum, and carbon packages provide attachments to the front and back edges and the side accentuates the individual look. Four rings and RS logs may be designed in black if requested. Turbo blue and Tango colors are added to the color palette. The Coupe is fitted with a carbon roof with a CFRP fiber structure that reduces the vehicle’s weight to less than four pounds (8.8 lb).
2020 Audi RS5 : Interior
horizontal lines and dark colors dominate the interior of the updated Audi RS5 models. The RS Sport seats are covered with Alcantara and leather leather or Nappa standard or leather as an option. RS design package with red or gray material is available upon request. Control features such as steering wheel lever and knee pumps are integrated with Alcantara covers with a contrasting red or gray look. In the optional Audi virtual cockpit plus, the driver can choose between multiple screens – one of them is the RS’s specific performance design, which displays the rotation speed ratio as an angle type that incorporates variable light display. The RS steering wheel drive button selects one of the two new RS modes, and the RS-specific steering wheel activates and displays high g-acceleration values. An optional headset display and offers exclusive RS graphics.
The performance concept of the two RS5 models is rooted in a 10.1-inch MMI touch display. A large, comfortable display with an acoustic response is slightly inclined to the driver. Once the high-speed MMI navigation system infotainment system is on the way, RS-specific monitoring provides the driver with information on the drive temperature, acceleration and timing, Quattro sports variability, tire pressure, and tire temperature. In the optional Audi virtual cockpit plus (12,3-inch display), the driver can choose between multiple screens – one of them is the RS-specific performance design, which displays rotational speed measurement as the angle of inclusion that reflects the display of the screen. When the driver uses the RS steering wheel drive button to select one of the two new RS modes, the RS-specific steering wheel activates and displays high g-acceleration values. An optional headset display and offers exclusive RS graphics.
2020 Audi RS5 : Engine
The twins of the 2.9 TFSI twin-turbo V6, the heart of the RS5 models, deliver unchanged 331 kW (450 PS) and have already produced a whopping 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) of torque at a speed of 1,900 rpm. Both models of the RS5 accelerate from zero to 100 km / h (62.1 mph) in 3.9 seconds and reach top speeds of up to 280 km/h (174.0 mph) on request. The fast-changing Tiptronic directs engine power to the permanent Quattro-wheel drive. The driver can control the gear change by using advanced aluminum shift paddles. The Quattro drivetrain offers two types of RS with a significant amount of torque, power, and durability, no matter what the weather. The handling is made even more pronounced with the sporty variant on the rear axle, which distributes the torque actively between the wheels.
2020 Audi RS5 : Safety
Important safety features include the general warning of collision and auto collisions, cruise control with stop and turn technology, and navigation warning and route maintenance. The 2020 RS5 has not been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). While the 2020 Audi RS5 Sportback offers standard driver assistance technology, upgrades such as automatic top bars and self-parking are expensive.
