2024 Audi A3
The 2024 Audi A3 is an executive/small family car manufactured and marketed by the German automobile company Audi AG. The 2024 Audi A3 is available in two trim levels this year: Premium and Premium Plus. The Audi A3 packs a lot of premium content into its compact four-door body and features spry handling and solid performance. The A3 sheds much of the program’s technology-focused ethos into a smaller, more affordable package. The 2024 A3 Audi Sedan is desirable among its entry-level luxury rivals which include the Acura Integra and BMW 2-series Gran Coupe.

The A3 cabin is fine but decorated with a large infotainment display and digital gauge cluster, among other luxuries and conveniences. All models now come with LED lights and very nice armrests. The Premium Plus trim can now be used with an interior LED lighting package, and the adaptive cruise control can be added to the base Premium trim as an option. The Black Optic package also includes unique 18-inch wheels.

Inside the Audi A3, Audi designers have taken more of the style of the larger A4 sedan and painted it with more personality. Available sports seats feature faux-suede upholstery and padded seats. Space for small cars isn’t usually generous, but we expect the A3’s trunk to offer enough space to transport medium-sized groceries or a weekend’s worth of luggage.

The A3 has a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system on all variants. Mercifully, the A3 forgoes the new dual-screen setup that makes the climate controls and driving mode a digital affair. Instead, those optional controls are handled here by good old-fashioned buttons. A 10.3-inch digital gauge display is also standard but can be upgraded to a larger 12.3-inch unit as part of the Technology package on the Premium Plus trim.

The 2024 Audi A3 is powered by a 201-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 48-volt hybrid system. A seven-speed automatic transmission is standard. The turbocharged four-cylinders horsepower rating isn’t as high as the outgoing car’s 228-hp powerplant and as a result, its zero-to-60-mph time is half a second slower at 6.0 seconds. Those looking for more power should consider the S3, which is boosted to 306 horsepower. The EPA estimates that the Audi A3 2024 should deliver 29 mpg city and 38 mpg highway when equipped with front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive models are rated at 28 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. On our 75 mph highway fuel economy test route, the all-wheel drive A3 managed a result of 40 mpg.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Audi A3 the highest rating of good in all six crash test categories and named it a Top Safety Pick+. These Audi headlights received a Good rating for how well they illuminate the road ahead. The IIHS uses a different scale to rate crash avoidance features. The A3 received the highest rating of Superior for its standard vehicle-to-vehicle crash prevention system, while the standard vehicle-to-pedestrian system received an average rating of Advanced.
