2025 Audi Q8 e-Tron
The 2025 Audi Q8 e-Tron is a luxury mid-size crossover SUV produced by the German automaker Audi. The Audi Q8 e-Torn is positioned as a more stylish and sportier alternative to the larger Audi Q7. Audi Q8 e-Tron features a coupe-like roofline and a more aggressive design, making it stand out in the Audi SUV lineup. The Audi Q8 competes with other luxury SUVs in its class, such as the BMW X6, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, and the Porsche Cayenne Coupe.
The Audi Q8 comes with various engine options, including both gasoline and diesel engines, depending on the market. These engines are typically paired with quattro all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. Inside, the Q8 offers a luxurious and high-tech cabin. The Q8 is designed to offer a blend of sportiness and comfort. The handling is agile for an SUV of its size, and Audi provides a smooth and comfortable ride.
2025 Audi Q8 e-Tron : Interior
Inside, the cabin of the 2025 Q8 Audi is typically praised for its premium materials and advanced technology. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, dual touchscreen MMI infotainment system, and high-quality materials contribute to a luxurious feel. Despite its high height, the driving position remains sporty and two adults can comfortably lie in the back. Although the two-row Q8 has less cargo volume than the three-row Audi Q7, the S8 SUV has an optional air suspension, which can lower the rear to help lift luggage in and out. The Q8 has limited storage space inside. The shallow center console bin and narrow door pockets left us with little room to store small items.
With touchscreens integrated into the dashboard and center console, every Q8 is equipped with a state-of-the-art infotainment system. Instead of the intuitive rotary controller found in other Audi models, the displays respond to touch inputs with haptic feedback. Fortunately, receiver voice commands and convenient steering wheel controls provide alternative usage. Standard features include Wi-Fi hotspot Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless charging and two different Bang & Olufsen sound systems are optional. We especially like the standard digital instrument cluster with its configurable settings and excellent navigation.
2025 Audi Q8 e-Tron : Engine
The Audi Q8 is equipped with a 335-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. This engine is quite smooth and refined and does a good job of propelling the Q8 around town and on the highway. The zero to 60 mph sprint takes 5.7 seconds. For higher performance, albeit at a much higher price, step up to the SQ8 or RS Q8. The SQ8 rocks a 500-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, imbuing the SUV with sports car-like thrust and a throatier exhaust note. Throttle response is immediate, and the big V8 can propel the SQ8 from zero to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. The Zanier RS Q8 has a 591-horsepower version of this engine that gets the job done in just 3.7 seconds. The base V6 returns an EPA-rated 18 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway; that’s only fit for a luxury midsize SUV. The Q8 gets a thirstier 14/20 mpg city/highway, while the RS Q8’s estimates drop to 13/20 mpg.
2025 Audi Q8 e-Tron : Safety
The safety ratings are yet not available from automotive publications and organizations like the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Overall, Audi prioritizes safety in the Q8, making it a reliable choice for those looking for a secure and stylish luxury SUV. It’s expected it will come equipped with a variety of advanced safety technologies to ensure the well-being of its occupants. These features typically include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The 2025 Audi Q8 e-Tron also offers a comprehensive airbag system and a strong, rigid body structure to enhance crash protection.
