The standard engine is a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder (137 horsepower, 162 lb-ft) paired with a continuously automatic transmission. The development of all-wheel-drive models, and compulsory for all-wheel-drive, is a 1.3-liter-three-cylinder turbocharged (155 hp, 174 lb-ft). Buick Encore 2020 comes paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
