The 2025 Cadillac CT5 is a luxury midsize sedan produced by the American automaker Cadillac, which is a division of General Motors. Cadillac CT5 was first introduced in 2019 as a replacement for the Cadillac CTS. The 2025 Cadillac CT5 comes with a stylish design, advanced technology features, and a focus on both performance and comfort. The Cadillac CT5 may include various engine options, advanced driver assistance systems, a high-quality interior with modern infotainment options, and distinctive Cadillac styling elements.
Cadillac adds features like a power-adjustable steering column, ventilated front-row seats with memory, ambient interior lighting, illuminated exterior door handles, and front and rear parking assist. Premium Luxury offers an expanded options menu, from the more powerful 3.0-liter V-6 to a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, surround-view camera, and Super Cruise. 2025 Cadillac CT5 : Interior
Inside, the Cadillac CT5 interior with more low-quality plastics than rich surfaces. Navigating the controls of today’s sports sedan is much simpler and easier to use. The rear seat is roomier than the old CTS, surpassing the rear legroom in the aforementioned BMW 3 Series and Alfa Romeo Giulia by nearly three inches. The Cadillac’s trunk fits five of our carry-on suitcases behind the back seats, but it gives the Alfa two cubic feet of trunk space and the BMW’s six cubes.
The 2025 Cadillac CT5 features the latest version of Cadillac’s infotainment system displayed on a massive 33.0-inch curved touchscreen that sits upright in front of the driver and center console. This setup is used in the Lyriq electric SUV and the entry-level XT4 SUV. You can control the system via a rotary wheel located behind the gear lever or the touch screen. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with wireless phone charging and wireless hotspot capability, a nine-speaker stereo is standard, but a premium stereo tuned by AKG is available as an option.
2025 Cadillac CT5 : Engine
The CT5’s standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 237 horsepower, but it can be upgraded to a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 with 335 horsepower. The performance-oriented CT5-V features a 360-hp version of the twin-turbo V-6, as well as adaptive dampers and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. The CT5 with the turbo four-cylinder reached 60 mph in 6.6 seconds. The rear-drive CT5-V hit 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The standard CT5 is smoother and less athletic than these two rivals. By comparison, two of the CT5’s main rivals, the BMW 330i and Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti, completed the same test in 5.1 and 4.6 seconds respectively.
The EPA estimates the CT5 with the standard turbo four-cylinder is rated at up to 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The 335-hp V-6 is rated at up to 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway; The 360 hp version is slightly behind with 18 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. On our 75 mph highway fuel economy test route, as part of our comprehensive testing regimen, the rear-drive Sport model achieved 31 mpg.
2025 Cadillac CT5 : Safety
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the Cadillac CT5 an overall safety rating of five out of five stars, including five stars in frontal crash, side crash, and rollover tests. The CT5 has yet not been tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The Cadillac CT5 is equipped with a range of safety features to ensure a secure driving experience. Some of the key safety elements include advanced driver assistance systems like forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, and a safety alert seat that provides haptic feedback to warn the driver of potential hazards. The Cadillac CT5-V offers available features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and a rearview camera.
