Other features are dual-zone automatic climate control, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. SS also has a full set of standard driver assistance features.

High-gloss chrome trim and faux suede accents adorn the center console, dash, and doors of the SS. Errors are minimal and mostly related to fit and finish. The SS deserves high marks for its ample passenger room and numerous standard features, such as a head-up display and 10-way electrically adjustable front seats with heating and cooling. The front sports seats look gorgeous with perforated leather, faux suede accents, and red stitching. Too bad the interior is only black and the seams on the dashboard of our test car are uneven. The SS has competitive boot space and useful interior storage.

The Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system is easy to use and has numerous features. The 2023 SS Chevrolet also has simple controls and includes navigation and a Wi-Fi hotspot as standard, it uses an older version of MyLink with an older interface that has low-resolution graphics and lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The standard 8.0-inch touchscreen sits on top of the center stack and can be operated with volume, tuning knobs, and spare buttons. A nine-speaker Bose sound system and a one-year SiriusXM satellite radio subscription are standard. Unfortunately, there is only a single USB port and no auxiliary audio input.

The untimely EPA fuel economy testing and reporting procedures have changed over time.
