The 2025 Ferrari SF90 Stradale is a mid-engine PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The 2025 Ferrari SF90 and 2025 Ferrari SF90 XX deliver earth-shattering performance,  unfortunately, their prices put them out of reach for all but the world’s wealthiest riders. The main feature of the design is the double-piece rear wing, which is an application of the drag reduction system (DRS) used in Formula 1. The SF90 Spider is a convertible version of the SF90 Stradale equipped with a retractable roof. The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid car to be offered as an open-top version.

Both standard SF90 models come loaded with enough amenities to make either car a satisfactory choice, but we’d prefer the convertible Spider variant. If you want to give this Ferrari a more personalized look, you can choose from numerous upholstery options. Several different wheel designs are available, and available upgrades include carbon fiber components, titanium exhaust, digital rearview mirror, and brake calipers in various colors. The 2024 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale is a plug-in hybrid, meaning it combines a traditional internal combustion engine with electric power.

SF90 Stradale features a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine combined with three electric motors, resulting in a total power output of around 986 horsepower. The SF90 Stradale features an innovative all-wheel-drive system where the front wheels are driven solely by the electric motors, while the rear wheels are powered by the internal combustion engine. The SF90 Stradale’s design language blends elements of Ferrari’s racing heritage with modern aesthetics and is produced in limited numbers, adding to its exclusivity and appeal among enthusiasts.

Inside, the interior is finished with high-quality materials such as leather, Alcantara, carbon fiber, and aluminum accents, giving it a premium and sporty look. A 16-inch curved screen behind the steering wheel shows the driver the car’s various vital statistics. The car also features a new head-up display that will reconfigure itself according to the selected driving mode. The steering wheel is carried over from the F8 but now features multiple capacitive touch interfaces to control the car’s various functions. Other traditional handles and buttons are retained. According to the manufacturer, the interior will also transmit engine sound to the driver.

The two-seat coupe features a sculpted dashboard with flowing lines that mimic the flowing design of the car’s exterior. Cargo space is often lacking in high-performance exotics. Certainly true of the SF90, which provides roughly three cubic feet of space for your belongings. SF90 XX models have a simpler interior. Ferrari eliminated unnecessary materials such as carpeted floor mats to save weight. The door panels and center console of the SF90 XX have also been redesigned in carbon fiber.  All SF90 models come with a front LCD monitor and a six-speaker audio system. The vehicle is also equipped with standard technical features such as Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, real-time traffic, and an integrated navigation system with voice activation. Apple CarPlay integration is offered, but Android Auto is not on the list of available amenities.

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is equipped with an extremely powerful V-8 and three electric motors. The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 alone produces a whopping 769 horsepower, and the trio of electric motors deliver an additional 217 horsepower. In the end, the gas/electric powertrain produces a net output of 986 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. Upgrading to the SF90 XX unlocks another 30 horsepower for a total of 1016 hp and adds a feature that Ferrari calls Extra Boost, which temporarily increases power output to help regain speed when exiting a corner. Power is sent to all four wheels, making it the first mid-engine Ferrari with all-wheel drive. An eight-speed automatic transmission handles the operations.

Ferrari’s official estimate is that the SF90 Stradale will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, and the SF90 do it in 2.3 seconds. Our testing on an SF90 Stradale proved this figure to be conservative; because the vehicle reached 60 mph in 2.0 seconds; This was a record for a production vehicle in our test. The EPA estimates that the SF90 Stradale coupe should deliver 18 mpg combined when running on gasoline alone, and up to 51 MPGe when using both the gasoline engine and electric motors.
