2022 Fisker Ocean
The 2020 Fisker Ocean is an upcoming all-electric Support Utility Vehicle. The Fisker is known short-lived Fisker Karma hybrid plug-in luxury sedan and stunning sports car creations like Aston Martin DB9 and BMW Z8. The standard Fisker Ocean AWD model will produce more than 300 horsepower, with 2WD models possibly making less. The more powerful 2022 Ocean is also in the works.
Fisker is working with Electrify America to streamline payments for Fisker vehicles at Environment Agency charging stations. Unlike many of its competitors, the Ocean can also accept the full 150-kW charging rate that many Environment Agency stations provide. Fisker estimates that charging fifteen percent to eighty percent adds 200 miles of range and takes 30 minutes at 150 kW.
2022 Fisker Ocean : Interior
Fisker Ocean is developed to be as logically feasible as possible. The Fisker Ocean 2020’s seats are trimmed using recycled polyester fibers, while its inner carpets are made from recycled nylon, coming from disused fishing nets. Inside, the testimonials are apart from the fact that it is purely electric, the solar roof, recycled carpet, and what Fisker calls a vegan interior. Front and center is a 16-inch touchscreen that focuses on portraits, with a 9.8-inch screen on each side that serves as the instrument panel. In contrast to Tesla’s Model Y cabin, which can be minimalist to a bug, the Ocean’s touchscreen includes a row of buttons below it for accessing high-level interface functions.
The steering wheel also has a traditional set of controls to interact with the numerous systems at play. Knowing that some EV buyers prefer environmentally friendly materials, Fisker says the Ocean Cabin does not use any animal products. Many surfaces are made from renewable sources, including carpets made from recycled fishing nets and upholstery made of polyester fiber and recycled materials. Despite the lack of detail, the upcoming Ocean will have a modern infotainment system along with a large touch screen and two wireless chargers. While some luxury competitors offer intuitive smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it’s uncertain whether Fisker will do the same.
2022 Fisker Ocean : Motor
Fisker Ocean is a five-passenger SUV that will be available on RWD and AWD forms. Next up, a third-row seating option will be offered, along with a flagship performance model that hits 60 mph in just under 3 seconds, Fisker said. The 20-22-inches wheels will be in the selection list, with Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The range is estimated to be between 250 and 300 miles with a battery pack of at least 80 kWh, though it remains to be seen whether those numbers will hold up to EPA testing.
2022 Fisker Ocean : Safety
There are no details on what kind of limited warranty or powertrain warranty will accompany the upcoming Ocean. The standard safety information includes information that is not yet available but is exempt from driver assistance technology. It is expected to offer many of the standard and optional safety features common to contemporary automobiles as well as autonomous features.
