The Fiesta accommodates five people in two rows. Even compared to other small cars like the 2019 Toyota Yaris and Honda Fit, Ford’s backseats feel cramped. Front seats are better for head and leg room, but the lack of seat padding and adjustability can make it hard to get comfortable. The good thing is, this vehicle has a well-built cabin. The Ford Fiesta has two complete sets of LATCH car-seat connectors for the outer rear seats and a top tether for the rear middle seat.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave this car’s LATCH system it’s lowest Poor rating for ease of use. The lower anchors are set too deep in the seats, they are difficult to maneuver around and require a lot of force to attach. The Fiesta comes with the basic SYNC infotainment system as standard, but it’s worth the effort for a model equipped with the current SYNC 3 system. It’s easy to use and the touchscreen has sharp graphics and responds quickly to inputs with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
