2023 Ford Fiesta
The 2023 Ford Fiesta is a supermini car marketed by Ford. Ford Fiesta features a stunning new design and intuitive technology that makes driving more efficient and enjoyable. The Ford has a well-deserved reputation as the small car that will put the biggest smile on your face when driving Fiesta. Ford has even capitalized on the growing popularity of small SUVs by offering a 2023 Fiesta Active model with tough-looking black fenders, raised suspension, and roof rails.
The Fiesta is in the middle of the subcompact car class. The Ford Fiesta offers sporty handling and a simple infotainment system, but this little car is held back by its narrow rear seats, small cargo compartment, and lack of driver assistance features. The latest Fiesta has fierce competition with similar competitors like the Peugeot 208, Seat Ibiza, and Volkswagen Polo.
The Dacia Sandero drastically lowers the price of all other small cars, and if you’re looking for extra space in a compact package, you might as well consider the Honda Jazz. The latest Ford Fiesta is one of the best ever, combining the style and driving brilliance of its predecessor with a luxury interior packed with hardware.
2023 Ford Fiesta : Interior
The Fiesta accommodates five people in two rows. Even compared to other small cars like the 2019 Toyota Yaris and Honda Fit, Ford’s backseats feel cramped. Front seats are better for head and leg room, but the lack of seat padding and adjustability can make it hard to get comfortable. The good thing is, this vehicle has a well-built cabin. The Ford Fiesta has two complete sets of LATCH car-seat connectors for the outer rear seats and a top tether for the rear middle seat.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave this car’s LATCH system it’s lowest Poor rating for ease of use. The lower anchors are set too deep in the seats, they are difficult to maneuver around and require a lot of force to attach. The Fiesta comes with the basic SYNC infotainment system as standard, but it’s worth the effort for a model equipped with the current SYNC 3 system. It’s easy to use and the touchscreen has sharp graphics and responds quickly to inputs with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2023 Ford Fiesta : Engine
The Ford Fiesta 2023 is powered with a five-speed engine that comes as standard, as does the 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 120 horsepower; The optional six-speed automatic is almost as fun to drive as a manual. The 2023 Fiesta S, SE, and ST-Line models are equipped with a 120-horsepower four-cylinder engine and a manual or automatic transmission. The ST hatchback is the performance-oriented vehicle of the series with 197 horsepower and no automatic transmission option.
2023 Ford Fiesta : Safety
All 2023 Fiestas have seven airbags, lane departure warning, and assistance, as well as Ford’s MyKey system – a programmable ignition switch that can be used to limit the vehicle’s top speed, mute the audio system and prevent the stability control system from disarming. This will give you some peace of mind if you decide to give the keys to a recently tested driver.
However, the big disappointment is that automatic emergency braking (AEB) does not come standard on any trim level. It is reserved for the list of options as part of the Driver Assistance Package, which also adds blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control. Unfortunately, this bundle is not available on entry-level Trend hardware. All 2023 Ford Fiesta versions come with an engine immobilizer and a Thatcham-approved alarm to deter thieves.
