The Hyundai Equus is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 that produces only 429 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Hyundai 2023 Equus is the only drivetrain offered, with an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive. The fuel economy estimated by the EPA is 18 mpg in total (15 cities/23 highways).
