The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by the Hyundai, Automotive manufacturer. The Hyundai Palisade 2025 is available in five trims: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy. Front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is available on all trims, and an eight-passenger second-row bench seat is standard on the SE and optional on the SEL.
The premium-focused trims are sure to appeal to the family buyer, the top-of-the-line Palisade models are aimed at luxury rivals with their wide range of features, high-end design, and stylish interior trim. The 2025 Palisade SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy come with second-row captain’s chairs, which reduces the capacity to seven. Only poor handling and mediocre fuel economy can be considered issues, but these are minor issues considering this versatile SUV.
The Palisade shares underpinnings with the larger Kia Telluride; Its demeanor on the road is still calm and relaxed, making it an excellent choice for long-distance travel. The state-of-the-art cabin features luxurious seating areas and three comfortable rows of seats. Hyundai has integrated many communication features and convenience features inside, so everyone will feel at home. High-end Limited and Calligraphy models take the experience to a level closer to luxury with features like extended leather upholstery, more stylish jackets, and second-row captain’s chairs.
2025 Hyundai Palisade : Interior
Inside, the 2025 Palisade has some of the best interiors in its class, but it also competes with some of its rivals in the luxury department. Soft touches abound throughout the cabin, and the overall design is comfortable and premium. The SE and SEL trims seat eight passengers, while the Limited and Calligraphy feature second-row captain’s chairs, reducing passenger capacity to seven. The second row has a button that moves the seat forward for easy access to the third row. A 12.0-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, in-car navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity is standard on all trims. Up to seven USB ports are available, also can connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time.
The Hyundai Palisade is equipped with Hyundai’s Blue Link app service and can be locked, unlocked, and started remotely with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Cargo volume with all seats folded is 86 cubic feet, and the Palisade fits a total of 33 cargoes with two rows down. With the second row upright and the third row folded, storage space totals 46 cubic feet, if the third line is used, the volume is reduced to a limited level of 18 cubes. There is space under the cargo floor to store muddy or wet items. The bins in the doors are small, but there is decent storage space in and under the center console.
2025 Hyundai Palisade : Engine
All 2025 Palisades come with a 291-horsepower V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The V6 has enough power for good off-the-line acceleration and plenty of power for passing speed. The transmission shifts smoothly and quickly. Front-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is optional on SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels; standard in high-level calligraphy. All Palisades come standard with transmission cooler pre-wiring and cruise control and can tow up to 5,000 pounds when equipped with a dealer-installed trailer hitch. According to the EPA, the front-wheel-drive Palisade averages 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. With all-wheel drive, the Palisade is rated at 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. On our 200-mile highway test route, our all-wheel-drive SEL model managed just 23 mpg, compared to 24 mpg.
2025 Hyundai Palisade : Safety
The Hyundai Palisade has not been fully tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The NHTSA gave the Hyundai five out of five stars in the frontal crash test and four stars in the rollover test. 2025 Hyundai Palisade’s standard safety and driver assistance features include blind-spot monitoring, rearview camera, head-up display, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, blind-spot camera, rear cross-traffic alert, a camera system that looks around, collision warning, pedestrian, cyclist and intersection, driver awareness, collision warning, front parking sensors, vehicle exit warning, rear seat warning, lane center assistant, automatic braking, lane keeping assistant, reverse automatic emergency braking, automatic lights high, rain sensitive wipers and remote smart parking.
