2024 Kia Cadenza
The 2024 Kia Cadenza or the 2024 Kia K7 is a full-size/executive sedan manufactured by Kia. The 2025 KIA Cadenza signifies Kia’s successful march towards luxury-oriented products. The 2024 Kia Cadenza was launched to replace the Kia Opirus and KIA Amanti. Like its KIA Telluride, KIA Stinger, and KIA K900 counterparts, the Cadenza is a value proposition in a shrinking segment. An upgraded V-6 engine provides plenty of power for the Cadenza’s relaxed driving dynamics and found highway fuel economy fixed at 31 mpg in our tests.
The KIA Cadenza also offers solid value in the technology department, with its standard 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and driver assistance features. The Cadenza is getting a new exterior design and a redesigned instrument cluster for 2020. Alongside the visual makeover, Kia has updated the car’s tech features by adding a new 12.3-inch infotainment display and standardizing several driver assistance features, including automatic emergency braking. pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control using the now standard navigation system to prepare for oncoming bends on the road.
2024 Kia Cadenza : Interior
Inside, the Kia Cadenza’s sleek, well-built cabin offers the same luxuries as its rivals and some even. External visibility is also good. The high-quality, elegant interior takes cues from top-of-the-range manufacturers. Kia fixed the rear seat backs to increase structural rigidity, so the rear seat only has a center pass for more storage. With its foldable second row, the Maxima is the ideal airport runner. The Cadenza has two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the outer rear seats and a tie-down anchor for the rear center seat.
2024 KIA Cadenza variants come as standard with in-dash navigation and a large 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. Also provided is UVO eServices, a built-in telematics system that can diagnose a mechanical problem, alert the driver when vehicle maintenance is required, and call for help in the event of an accident. The cabinet has several USB ports, and a wireless smartphone charging pad is also standard fare.
2024 Kia Cadenza : Engine
The Cadenza’s V-6 engine is refined and competent. The transmission could have been more civilized, but the Intelligent drive mode makes the most of the drivetrain’s capabilities. Cadenza’s V-6 produces 290 horsepower, and while the engine itself is a smooth operator, the initial throttle response is sleepy. The Limited model we tested did zero to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds, which wasn’t exactly slow, but the Nissan Maxima we tested achieved a faster 5.7 seconds.
The KIA Cadenza‘s suspension absorbs bumps admirably and manages to keep body movements under control. According to EPA estimates, the Cadenza’s fuel economy lags behind competitors like the Toyota Avalon and Maxima. But in our testing, we found the Cadenza to be fuel efficient, delivering 31 mpg on our 200-mile real-world highway fuel economy test route, despite an EPA rating of 27 mpg.
2024 Kia Cadenza : Safety
The Insurance Institute for Road Safety awarded the KIA Cadenza the highest Good rating in all six crash test categories. The Cadenza received the highest rating of Superior for the standard vehicle-to-vehicle frontal collision avoidance system, while the optional vehicle-to-pedestrian system earned the intermediate Advanced rating. The standard driver assistance and Kia Cadenza key safety features include adaptive cruise control, navigation-based cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rearview camera, lane keeping assist, parking sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, collision alert, automatic high beam headlights, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, and a parking camera system with a surround view.
