2025 KIA Carnival
The 2025 Kia Carnival or 2025 Kia Sedona is a minivan manufactured and sold by KIA Motors. The 2025 Carnival is available in five trim levels: LX, LXS, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. The Kia Carnival features a stylish exterior, refined handling, and a responsive V-6 engine. The Carnival’s exterior design makes the rear sliding doors smaller than other trucks, but functionally the openings are just as large.
Another plus is the highly adjustable driver’s seat, drivers of all sizes should find a comfortable spot. The Kia Carnival also has standard driver-assist features, including lane keep assist, automatic high beams, and blind spot monitoring. However, the Kia Carnival has less cargo space than rival vans and cannot be ordered with all-wheel drive.
2025 KIA Carnival : Interiuor
The Carnival minivan has interior features. The Carnival’s dashboard and front seating area are stylish and comfortable. A large center console offers plenty of storage space for small items. At the same time, an optional Mercedes-style dual-screen infotainment system with a digital display provides easy access to the truck’s connectivity features. The top-level SX Prestige trim comes with leather upholstery and optional second-row seats with pop-up footrests.
The plush seats give passengers a comfortable way to while away the hours on a long trip. However, unfortunately, they cannot be removed or folded down as in competing minivans, limiting the Carnival’s maximum cargo space. In our test, stowed 14 carry-on bags behind the third-row seats and a total of 48 with all the seats folded down.
A 12.0-inch infotainment screen is standard and two 12.3-inch screens that span two-thirds of the Carnival’s dashboard are optional, one for a digital gauge display and the other for infotainment. The voice assistant is integrated into the infotainment software and passengers can verbally instruct the vehicle to open windows, adjust climate control, or navigate to a destination.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The carnival booth has seven USB ports and two regular power outlets. A rear-seat entertainment system adds two 14.6-inch monitors to the rear, allowing passengers to stream content while riding; A 12-speaker Bose stereo is also available.
2025 KIA Carnival : Engine
A 287-horsepower powers the KIA Carnival, 3.5-liter V-6 engine; An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard. Kia also offers a Carnival Hybrid with a 242-horsepower turbocharged hybrid, but we’ll look at that model separately. EPA fuel economy ratings for the Carnival are 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The Carnival took the 75-mile fuel economy route, part of our extensive testing regimen, and returned 28 mpg highway, 2 mpg above the EPA rating.
2025 KIA Carnival : Safety
The 2025 KIA Carnival offers a host of standard driver-assist features, including lane keep assist, automatic high beams, and blind spot monitoring, all of which help the Carnival compete with models like the Pacifica, Sienna, and Honda Odyssey. KIA Carnival crash test results will be available on the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Safety features on the 2025 KIA Carnival will likely include blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and lane centering.
