2025 Land Rover Discovery
The 2025 Land Rover Discovery is a luxury 7-seater SUV manufactured by Land Rover. The 2025 Land Rover Discovery is comfortable and versatile, with the same aluminum construction as the Range Rover. The Land Rover Discovery 2025 has a touchscreen that allows for seat adjustments, and all-terrain features and is suitable for both urban and off-road. The Discovery is a family-friendly SUV designed to take your kids to far-flung destinations with ease. The Discovery has less cargo capacity, worse reliability, and a less refined interior than its rivals.
Under the hood is a 296-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 355-horsepower turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. The Discovery’s handling is adequate but not sloppy, and while it’s comfortable to handle, it’s less refined than rivals such as the BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, and Volvo XC90. But these crossovers won’t go as outdoorsy as the Discovery, and Land Rover draws on its off-road prowess. The off-road Victory machines are rare in the segment and include a two-speed transfer case, skid plates, and a height-adjustable air suspension system.
2025 Land Rover Discovery : Interior
Inside, the 2025 Land Rover Discovery interior is luxurious and its design is suitably flashy. 2025 Land Rover comfort features are present throughout the cabin, and the level of comfort only increases as you move up to the more expensive trims. Electrically adjustable, heated leather seats with optional massage function for driver and front seat passengers offer good support and even better cushioning. The second-row seats offer forward aft and recline adjustments. With both rear rows of seats folded down, the Disco’s spacious cabin proved useful, with room for 29 people. But if you flip the last row of seats up and fill the Discovery with seven explorers, the maximum number of cabins it can carry is just two behind the third row.
The Land Rover Discovery featured with an 11.4-inch touchscreen and advanced features like a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and real-time traffic and weather updates, powered by a 4G LTE data connection. Pivi Pro was launched with the Land Rover Defender in 2020 and is available on other Land Rover and Jaguar models. It has a simple menu structure and can be refreshed on air. There are up to nine USB ports in the cabin, and new tablet-holding accessories can be used to stop rear-seat entertainment for kids. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features are also standard, as is a wireless smartphone charging pad, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a full-color display.
2025 Land Rover Discovery : Engine
The 2025 Land Rover Discovery is available with a 296 hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a 355-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, the latter using a 48-volt hybrid system. The six-cylinder Discovery hit 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. Land Rover’s adventure-ready mission appeals to those looking for an SUV that does more than just cruise around the parking lot, but that comes at the cost of being on the road. The Discovery’s handling isn’t as stiff as expected, but it still feels stiff and heavy when you change direction. The overall ride quality is quite good and hard bumps are handled with ease.
However, this is not the case, especially when cruising on the highway, where a large dead center creates the need for constant steering adjustments. When towing a heavy load, the Disco is rated to tow up to 8,200 kilograms. The EPA estimates that the turbocharged four-cylinder model will deliver 19 mpg city and 22 mpg highway, while the hybridized six-cylinder powertrain is rated at 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. In our 75 mph highway economy test, our six-cylinder test car managed just 22 mpg.
2025 Land Rover Discovery : Safety
Land Rover also introduced a new 360-degree exterior camera system that provides a view of the area just below the front of the Discovery, aimed at improving safety when driving off-road. The Discovery’s crash test results are available on the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Land Rover Discovery also includes standard safety features such as anti-lock brakes, stability control, front airbags, side airbags, overhead airbags, and seat belt pretensioners, as well as a security system that prevents unwanted entry into the vehicle. The Land Rover Discovery’s popular safety features are adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking that can detect pedestrians and lane-keeping assist.
