2025 Lexus LX : Interior
The materials contribute to a premium and upscale feel. Lexus often equips the LX with a range of advanced technology features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, navigation, smartphone integration, and a premium sound system. At the trim level, you may find various luxury amenities such as a sunroof, power-adjustable steering wheel, multi-zone climate control, and ambient lighting. The 2025 LX 600 usually offers comfortable seating for both the driver and passengers. The seats are often well-padded and adjustable, with options for heated and ventilated seats in some trims.
The entry-level Standard trim offers room for five across two rows of seats; Premium, Luxury, and F Sport trims come with a third row of seats, increasing passenger capacity to seven. The top-trim Ultra Luxury model is available only as a four-seat layout, with dual captain’s chairs in the second row divided by a center console, plus rear-seat entertainment screens and wireless smartphone charging. Lexus LXSUV is known for its spacious interior, offering ample legroom and headroom for passengers in both the front and rear seats. The third-row seating in some models can accommodate additional passengers. The LX offers decent cargo space, especially with the third-row seats folded down. This makes it practical for carrying luggage or groceries.
2025 Lexus LX : Engine
The Lexus LX 600 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V-6 engine that produces 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard. The powertrain debuted in the new Toyota Land Cruiser, which shares its mechanical underpinnings with the LX. The Lexus LX600 has an impressive towing capacity of 6,000 pounds. In our testing, the LX600 managed a zero-to-60 mph time of 6.1 seconds, which should be more than enough for most drivers. LX models offer a compliant ride, but those swooned by the F Sport model and its more aggressively tuned suspension will have to put up with the harshness of the ride. The LX600 earned fuel economy ratings of 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway from the EPA, this gave us a chance to test it on our 75 mph highway fuel economy route.
2025 Lexus LX : Safety
The key safety feature in the Lexus LX is the Lexus Safety System+, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. These features help drivers maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, stay within their lanes, and mitigate or avoid collisions with pedestrians. The Lexus LX typically comes equipped with a host of passive safety features, such as multiple airbags, antilock brakes, stability control, and traction control. These systems work together to enhance the SUV’s overall safety performance. Furthermore, the 2025 Lexus LX often earns high safety ratings in crash tests conducted by organizations such as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), further emphasizing its commitment to safety.
