2022 Lincoln Aviator
The 2022 Lincoln Aviator Black Label is a three-lane, mid-range luxury SUV sold and marketed by Lincoln. All Lincoln Aviator models are powered by a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, but the Grand Touring hybrid models receive additional power from an electric motor, with a total output of 494 horsepower. The 2022 Aviator is not compatible with the athleticism of competitors such as the BMW X5 and Volvo XC90. The Lincoln Aviator 2022 is convenient and its ride is light, driver assistance technology comes first, and it is possible to have luxury features such as seats, a 28-speaker premium stereo system, butter leather upholstery, and more.
The 2022 Lincoln Aviator is a brand new design with power transmissions, in-vehicle equipment, and driver aids. It quickly became one of our favorite cars in the segment. The cabin is comfortable and very well-equipped and has many high-end touches that set it apart from the competitive class. The optional driver assistance kit of the reserve model now includes front, rear, and side parking sensors and has been renamed the Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus. Available in two new colors: Golden Green and Bronze Smoke.
A simple setting is capable of turning the Aviator around the city at speed. Acceleration is smooth and soothing, partly due to the continuous shift of the transmission, and the transition maneuvers are performed quickly and reliably. You may hear some noise from the exhaust under loud noise, but most of the time the V6 hums quietly. A hybrid system always adds complexity that is not taken into account. The Aviator Grand Touring accelerates slowly in its special EV mode, which provides a 21-mile electric range. In hybrid mode, this is very fast, but from time to time the speed of movement is determined during the transition between the power supply and the gas power. We doubt most drivers will prefer the non-hybrid version.
2022 Lincoln Aviator : Interior
The Lincoln 2022 Aviator is available in six- or seven-seater configurations. Optional Perfect Position seats on the front allow 30-way adjustment and massage. If you want to spend extra money on it, the camera behind the windshield will check the road for holes and other imperfections and send instructions to the adjustable shock absorbers to improve driving quality. The 2022 Lincoln Aviator will share the bones with the Ford Explorer, but you won’t be able to determine if you’ve got it inside. The interior has a modern retro-modern aesthetic, with numerous soft plastics and soft surfaces combined with chrome and wood accents. The build quality is excellent and the cabin is quiet at speed.
The Lincoln Aviator 2022 model is equipped with a 10.1″ display that is mounted high on the dashboard and is easy to see, reach, and control with anything distracting. This is partly due to the simple SYNC 3 menu structure, as well as the many buttons and knobs in the central set for sound and climate control. So far, this is one of the most convenient information-entertainment systems for users in this class. Aviator also offers many convenient features, including keyless entry via a smartphone app and a dual-screen entertainment system for passengers. The standard 10-speaker stereo is good, but the optional 14 and 28-speaker Revel sound systems eliminate it with great sound quality.
2022 Lincoln Aviator : Engine
The Lincoln Aviator’s 400-hp twin-turbo V-6 is among the most powerful standard engines in the mid-size luxury SUV segment. The refined 3.0-liter V-6 works with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver both serene cruising and authoritative acceleration. In place of a more powerful V-8 engine as an option, Lincoln offers a plug-in hybrid model that’s known as the Aviator Grand Touring. Using the same V-6 and 10-speed transmission as the standard Aviator, the Grand Touring adds a 100-hp electric motor and a 13.6-kWh battery. The EPA rates the rear-wheel-drive Lincoln Aviator at 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway; the all-wheel-drive model delivers 17 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
2022 Lincoln Aviator : Safety
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave the 2022 Aviator an overall safety rating of five out of five stars. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has not evaluated the 2022 Aviator at the time of writing. However, the organization gave a similar model good ratings across the board. The 2022 Lincoln Aviator standard driver assistance features include Adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, high-beam headlights, Hands-free park assist, collision warning, Head-up display, and rearview camera.
