2025 Lincoln Aviator : Interior
Inside, the Lincoln Aviator offers a luxurious interior design, comfortable ride quality, and strong acceleration. The Aviator is available in six or seven-seat configurations. Buyers who choose second-row captain’s chairs will have two different options for the center console between these seats; One of these provides easy access to the third row. For journeys longer than a few minutes, the rear bench is only suitable for small children, but this arrangement means there is plenty of cargo space with all seats in the upright position. The Lincoln offers 18 cubic feet of storage space, more than what the Cadillac XT6 offers. Up front, the optional Perfect Position seats offer 30-way adjustment and adjustment.
A 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto features are standard on the Lincoln Aviator. Compared to other manufacturers that use rotary controls or multiple touch screens, Lincoln’s single-screen setup and conventional climate controls are easy to learn and use. On higher trim levels, a smartphone’s Bluetooth signal can be used instead of a key to unlock and launch the Aviator. The Revel Ultima 3D high-end sound system has 28 speakers.
2025 Lincoln Aviator : Engine
The Lincoln Aviator’s 400-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 is among the most powerful engines in the midsize luxury SUV segment. The upgraded 3.0-liter V-6 works with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission to deliver both smooth cruising and authoritative acceleration. Riding the Aviator in the standard configuration is comfortable, fun, and perhaps just what modern Lincoln buyers have been waiting for. Driver satisfaction is low, but the Aviator feels stable in corners and well isolated from road imperfections. The optional Dynamic Handling package adds an adaptive suspension system, air springs, and adaptive power steering, but after trying both setups we think the benefits are negligible.
The EPA rates the rear-wheel-drive Lincoln Aviator at 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway; the all-wheel drive model delivers 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. These figures indicate that the Aviator’s fuel economy lags behind all-wheel drive rivals such as the BMW X5 xDrive40i and Volvo XC90 B5. The rear-wheel-drive Aviator Reserve managed a paltry 22 mpg on our 75 mph highway economy test route.
