All Evija hypercars come with technological features such as Bluetooth connectivity and an infotainment system. A Digital Display in front of the steering wheel provides the driver with relevant information such as battery charge and remaining type. This is a car screen only. The Evija comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, and Lotus has included a built-in modem that helps connect to the cloud. A smartphone app is available that allows drivers to monitor the Evija from anywhere, checking things like battery charge status and driving distance.

2025 Lotus Evija : Engine

The Lotus Evija is powered by an electric powertrain, electric motors can produce a total of 1972 horsepower and 1254 pound-feet of torque. That’s almost double the horsepower offered by more expensive hypercars like the Aston Martin Valkyrie. A single-speed automatic transmission handles everything and sends power to all wheels. The curb weight of the car is designed to improve handling. Evija is equipped with technology designed to make charging the battery almost as fast as filling it up at the gas pump. It takes just 12 minutes for the car to charge up to 80 percent and just 18 minutes for a full charge. Lotus said it expects its hypercar to offer a driving range of 250 miles in the European WLPT test; That’s more optimistic than the EPA-grade tests we’ve done on this side of the Atlantic. Since the Evija is not street-legal, it is unlikely that the EPA will measure its fuel efficiency.

2025 Lotus Evija : Safety

The Lotus Evija is built with a strong carbon fiber chassis and includes airbags, carbon ceramic brake discs, electronic stability control, and a rearview camera. Driver-assistance technology is becoming increasingly common in modern performance cars, given its dedicated and high-performance stance, the Evija lacks advanced driver-assistance features. Evija crash test results will be available on the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
