2023 McLaren 765LT
The 2023 McLaren 765LT is a sports car designed and manufactured by British automaker McLaren Automotive. The 2023 McLaren 765LT is a supercar that puts track performance first and puts most of its lively comforts aside. McLaren 765LT is very fast and light construction with a 755 horsepower twin-turbocharged V-8 mounted in the middle of the ship makes it a missile on the racetrack. The name “LT” refers to the fact that it is a “long-tail” version of the McLaren 720S with which it shares many components.
The stark interior feels frivolous and the standard retractable roof on the Spider version adds some weight, but it shouldn’t detract too much from the pure driving experience. The new Spider convertible body style of the McLaren 765LT has been added to the lineup and replaces the previous McLaren 765LT Coupe, available only for the 2021 model year. Both are limited edition vehicles and only 765 units of the McLaren 765LT Spider will be produced in total.
2023 McLaren 765LT : Interior
Inside, the McLaren 765LT 2023 shares the same design and layout as the mismatched McLaren 720S. This means the cabin can be customized with a mix of soft grain leather and faux suede upholstery, as well as a myriad of color combinations. However, the McLaren LT’s interior has been optimized to reduce weight and increase performance, which reduces thinness. Among the many weight-saving measures are lightweight seats, lifted carpets,s, and thinner glass. Still, the passenger area and exterior visibility are in excellent condition here as well as on the 720S. Just keep in mind that climbing in and out remains a pain in the ass and there is hardly any cargo space.
A vertically oriented 8.0-inch touchscreen is mounted between the front seat passengers. Those who aren’t fanatics about losing weight might prefer to have a four-speaker sound system that brings other infotainment features like Bluetooth connectivity and SiriusXM satellite radio. The 765LT can also be available with a powerful Bowers & Wilkins sound system. Of course, entertainment equipment can be wiped out for free to keep McLaren as light as possible.
2023 McLaren 765LT : Engine
The mid-engined McLaren 765LT 2023 is powered by the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, which is also found in its sibling, the 2023 720S. The LT also feeds the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while its grinder is powered by parts from Senna. These upgrades help the Longtail produce 755 horsepower, which is 45 ponies more than the 720S. Its toxic fumes and raging sounds, which increase as the accelerator pedal is pressed further, are released from a series of high-mounted exhaust outlets.
The 765LT will accelerate to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and charge from zero to 100 mph in just 5.4 clicks. The 765LT showcases the same supernatural track capabilities and communicative feedback that made the 720S so great. The EPA estimates that the 765LT Spider should deliver 14 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway. Due to its special nature, we do not plan to evaluate the real-world mpg of this Longtail.
2023 McLaren 765LT : Safety
The McLaren 765LT has not been crashing tested by Euro NCAP. Instead of traditional driver assistance technology, McLaren offers useful options aimed at keeping the six-figure supercar from scratch. Key security features include a 360-degree camera, a front-end lift system, and front and rear parking sensors.
