The CLE-Class’ interior should look familiar because its general design is similar to the C-Class and GLC-Class. However, the front seats are new and unique to the CLE-Class and slide forward to access the rear seat with a leather belt that opens up a sliding path; Heated seats are standard, while air conditioning and massage are optional. 64-color ambient lighting is standard, as is a 17-speaker Burmester audio system. Base models come with vinyl upholstery, but in Mercedes tradition, you can pay more for fancier leather or Nappa leather. While the CLE class offers more front legroom than both the C class and E class coupes, it falls between the two in terms of rear legroom. Its 14.8 cubic feet trunk offers 2.1 more cubic feet than the old C-class coupe but falls short of the E-class coupe by two-tenths.

This latest version of MBUX includes new native apps like TikTok, Angry Birds, Webex, and Zoom, and music services such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal are also built-in.

Both the CLE300 and CLE450 have a top speed limited to 130 mph. We had a chance to test drive both the CLE300 and CLE450 ourselves and were impressed with their performance.
The CLE450 coupe hits 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, while the CLE300 coupe is estimated to hit 60 mph in about 5.2 seconds. Heavy convertible models will likely run a few ticks slower. The EPA rates the CLE300 coupe at 24 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined, while the convertible is rated at 26 mpg combined.
