2022 Pagani Huayra R
The 2022 Pagani Huayra R is a mid-engine sports car manufactured by Italian sports car-maker Pagani, replacing the company’s previous offer, the Pagani Zonda. The 2022 Huayra is scheduled to be the last line. Still, that could change, as Pagani has asked private collectors to refer to a one-time or limited edition model.
The initials on this trim moniker are a tribute to the late Benny Kayola, a car collector who stands out as Pagani’s first customer. Specially manufactured Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires are surrounded by 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels on the front and 21-inch rims on the back. The Pagani Huayra 2022 models has never been a vehicle with high production numbers.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise that Huayra R is limited to a very small number of units, more precisely 30. To put these manufacturing figure into context, the original Huayra was limited to 100 units from 2012 to 2018. In other examples, the Porsche 918 Spyder was limited to 918 units, and the Ferrari LaFerrari reached 499 units.
2022 Pagani Huayra : Interior
The 2022 Huayra design of the cabin inside is carefully crafted, the great gear selector sits between the driver and the front passenger. The simple component has elegant lines and beautiful metal details. The seat above the occupants is a removable carbon fiber roof with glass inserts. 2022 Pagani Huayra : Engine
The two turbocharged V-12s live in the middle of the Pagani Huayra 2022 model. 2022 Huayra engine, sourced from Mercedes-AMG sources, produces 791 horsepower and 775 lbs of torque. A seven-speed single-clutch automatic sends power to the rear wheels. Pagani points out that this single clutch is lighter than two clutch transmissions. Speaking of pounds, BC Huayra is softer, lifting the scales to about 2,755 pounds. Given the efficiency of the engine, we think there was no delay in this Huayra acceleration section. The new power unit is also extremely lightweight. Weighing in at just 198kg, this engine helps keep the car’s weight as low as possible to improve performance. The engine also serves as a structural element capable of connecting the carbon fiber bath to the six-speed serial transmission and the lower frame.
2022 Pagani Huayra : Safety
Carbon fiber mono-coque includes a complete safety cage containing composite materials. These materials absorb as much kinetic energy as possible when exposed. When entering the interior of the car, the Huayra R is equipped with a fire-fighting system that automatically activates itself in the event of a fire. The seats, which are attached to the monocoque, are also covered with a fire-resistant material. In 2022, Pagani Huayra did not receive an overall rating of crash tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Road Safety Insurance Institute (IIHS). A backup camera should be included as a standard feature in basic security features.
