2021 Peugeot 508
The 2021 Peugeot 508 is a large family car by French car maker Peugeot. The 2021 Peugeot 508 comes with Active features but also adds, round parking sensors, seamless entry and start, rear-facing camera, flexible power seats, 18-inch wheels, and a panoramic sunroof. Internal quality is decent. Any plastics for your soft and squidgy eye lines, small pieces look great, and the door handles and style keys of the piano key in the center console are made of cold metal to the touch.
The build quality, unfortunately, other offers. That’s not to say that the Peugeot 508 feels badly built, but pulling in a variety of interior areas will reveal a movement you can’t find on the granite VW Passat. A parcel shelf running across your rear screen as drive over the dots is another indication that the 508 does not represent the last word of engineering accuracy. Functional models come with fabric seats and the only models to get a small eight-inch sat-nav screen. Allure models represent the best value, they come with half-seat leather seats and headlights that light up all four feet.
2021 Peugeot 508 Design
Peugeot 508 GT Line features a striking front design that includes a sharp front grille and a full LED signature. On the profile, glossy black details can be found on the door mirrors and the surrounding windows, providing a perfect combination of 18 ”black‘ Hirone ’ wheels. In the background, 3D full ‘claw effect’ 3D headlights provide a sequence of car opening reception sequences. With its beautiful, elegant, and competitive body style, the PEUGEOT 508 Allure finds inspiration in the world of coupés but has all the features of a saloon. From the very beginning of the design drawings, the focus was on creating a great size with careful attention to detail. The flawless doors, both front and rear are a true work of art, but the thoughtful touch including the thick glass ensures that the 508 offers style and material in equal proportions. The bright glass opening roof gives all passengers, including rear passengers, a unique wide view of the landscape. The roof is complete with blind electricity and hot air for comfort it takes on a strong, deteriorating look when opened and gives a bright contrast when paired with bright body colors.
2021 Peugeot 508 Engine
The 2021 Peugeot 508 plug-in hybrid model combines a gasoline engine and an electric car, and offers a range of only 39 miles of power, placing it in direct competition with Volkswagen’s impressive Passat GTE, as well as the Skoda Superb iV. When you are working on electricity alone, the speed from the stand is faster and the speed of the road is easily controlled. Just don’t expect a speed like Tesla from a 108bhp single electric car. The 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine joins, the 0-62mph and picks up 8.3sec, which is not as fast as its Skoda and BMW plug-in rivals handle it.
The 1.5-liter diesel engine produces only 128bhp and is the only engine supplied with a manual gearbox. Unfortunately, it feels like it has enough power to make joining a highway or a more stressful pass than it should be. We still have to try the 2.0 BlueHDi 160, but the 174bhp 2.0 BlueHDi 180 has solid performance, with the 0-62mph taking the same 8.3sec hybrid. It doesn’t feel much faster than the 2.0 TDI 150 Superb, though.
2021 Peugeot 508 Safety
The reliability and safety of the Peugeot 508 is still proven, but the signs are still there. Peugeot has a reputation for producing safe family cars, and most of its latest models have received five-star safety ratings from independent Euro NCAP safety experts. A specialist in the car safety organization Euro NCAP has awarded 508 the most competitive five-star rating. Undoubtedly contributing to this success are the many safety features Peugeot has developed for this model. 2021 Peugeot 508 emergency brakes are common throughout the range, and high trim levels provide effective cruise control with a stopping and moving center that should reduce driver fatigue on long road trips. Providing its design proves durability, the 20201 Peugeot 508 should be the safest way to travel for your family.
