2023 RAM 2500
The 2023 RAM 2500 pickup truck is a full-size pickup truck manufactured by Stellantis North America and marketed under the Ram Trucks brand. The 2023 RAM 2500 is a luxury, well-equipped heavy-duty pickup truck with spare parts capacity. The Dodge Ram 2500 has many high-tech features, solid towing, and one of the most beautiful interiors on the market for a heavy-duty truck. RAM 2500 has a few minor drawbacks, such as a non-optimal driving position and a noisy diesel engine. The Dodge 2023 Ram 2500 is one of our favorite trucks on the market and we would definitely recommend giving it a test drive.
The Dodge Uconnect infotainment system brings current Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, SiriusXM satellite radio, and more to a touchscreen. Available navigation gives turn-by-turn directions on the twelve-inch touchscreen, and with the available SiriusXM Traffic Plus and SiriusXM Travel Link, you can avoid congestion. Available SiriusXM Guardian Connect Services turns your mobile phone into a remote control for Ram 2500.
2023 RAM 2500 : Interior
The fact that the Ram comes in a multitude of trim levels and cabin styles means that its interior materials, passenger space, and a host of in-cab tech features can vary greatly in quantity and quality. A single cabin, a spacious four-door Crew Cab, and a massive Mega Cab are available. While heavy-duty trucks from Ford, Chevy, and GMC also feature large and luxurious interiors, the Ram has the best interior in the segment with luxury car-level details, extreme comfort, and a clean, modern design, while the highest trim levels feature premium materials.
The top Longhorn trim gets striped wood and even gold trim on the dash, doors, and gauges, with the Longhorn logo hand-branded into the wood on the truck’s upper glove box door. The design of the cabin also features functional controls and a ton of interior cabin storage. Its multi-level center console can accommodate a laptop with a 15.0-inch screen. Ram also packs its heavy-duty trucks with in-cab technology, including a cutting-edge infotainment system that rivals some of the larger luxury sedans and SUVs. It also responds quickly to user input, and its 8.0-inch touchscreen is large and well-placed.
The Ram also features a giant 12.0-inch rebuildable touchscreen, which is the largest in its class and gives the truck interior a high-tech look and feel. The system also features navigation, a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are five USB ports on the inside of the truck for your devices, and up to three 115-volt outlets that can handle up to 400 watts to start or charge vehicles.
2023 RAM 2500 : Engine
Three engines are available. Standard power on all models comes from a 410-hp 6.4-liter V-8 producing 429 pound-feet of torque. It’s perfectly paired with an eight-speed automatic. However, all other models are also offered with a 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six with rear or all-wheel drive. Two versions of the diesel are available. The first is available in both the 2500 and 3500 models and produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Only available in the 3500, the 400-hp high-output version produces an incredible 1075 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are powered by a six-speed automatic transmission, while their diesel competitors all have more modern 10-speed transmissions.
The standard A6.4-liter Hemi produces a best-in-class 410 horsepower. The current 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel delivers 850 lb-ft of torque, so you can pull up to almost 20,000 lbs. Fuel economy is not estimated by the EPA for commercial vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 8500 pounds, such as the Ram 2500 and RAM 3500.
2023 RAM 2500 : Safety

The Normal Cab was rated for the tipping test only. The same three-star rollover rating applies to the Mega Cab 4×4. Six airbags are standard on all models, configurations, and cabin sizes, along with dynamic grille lines, centerlines, and a rearview camera with zoom function. There’s also a cargo view camera, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping assist, and adaptive steering, all spread across various optional packages. In addition, conventional trailer coverage and rear crossroad detection as well as blind spot monitoring are optionally available across the entire range.
