2023 Saab 9-5 : Interior
The interior of the Saab 9-5 2023 model combines modern design with a deep, complex feel. The music panel sweeps well into the center console like a single bad ribbon. Accents in chrome and brushed aluminum add panache to a business-like interior. There are plenty of plastic areas throughout the wardrobe, but overall, they are soft to the touch and well made. As usual with Saab, the ignition is located in the center console, but in this case, it is the start/stop button as 9-5 introduces unlocked ignition. The front seats are especially comfortable for long periods of time and hold the occupants in an area with considerable stiffness on the sides. The rear seats provide plenty of room to sleep, but surprisingly, taller riders will find the headroom missing. The trunk is quite large at 18.2 cubic feet and uses an optional railway to keep things safe.

The six-speed automatic transmission is the only automatic and powerful channel on all wheels. Additional traction is achieved with a variety of electronic back limited-slip. Saab estimates that a 9-5 will rise from zero to 60 mph in about 6.9 seconds, which is slightly lower than the average car of this class. The performance of Saab 9-5 of 2010 is rarely higher than usual. The turbocharged V6 is smooth but the actual acceleration is medium due to the weight of the car. Power delivery is smooth and there is no hint of turbo lag.
