2021 Seat Alhambra
The 2021 Seat Alhambra is a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) manufactured by SEAT. The Seat Alhambra 2021 model is a very large MPV designed for seven persons. Also, the driving is good value and surprisingly fun. The Seat Alhambra is a seven-seater carrier that is a slightly cheaper alternative to the Volkswagen Sharan, can consider other options like Ford Galaxy, Citroen C4 and Renault Scenic.
The SEAT Alhambra works very well, partly because the suspension is firmly mounted. In most cars, a firm stop means less comfortable travel, but that’s not a problem in the SEAT – it’s comfortable and works well for squatting on the road. Although the SE, SEL, and Xcellence trims come in a variety of designs, they get 17-inch alloy wheels, and the tires and road noise are well separated from the interior.
2021 Seat Alhambra Interior
Inside is a logical and clear dashboard, but it has begun to show its age, losing some of the features found in recent SEAT models. The first two rows have plenty of head and foot rooms, while the third row has enough space for adults – which is not very convenient. Even when using seven seats, there’s a 267-liter load on the luggage you get in the Ford Fiesta.
Alhambra gets good equipment at all trim levels. Even the cheapest SE model comes with Bluetooth connectivity, steering stereo controls, three-zone climate control and SEAT’s Media System Plus entertainment system with a 6.5-inch color touch screen and sat-nav provided. SEL improves the number of equipment with a DAB radio, heated power-adjustable front seats, a rear-view camera and a powered rear door. Xcellence adds luxury items such as a panoramic sunroof, a leather upholstery, a heated window washer and a keyless entry and start.
2021 Seat Alhambra Engine
The Alhambra has two versions of the same 2.0-liter TDI diesel: one with 148 horsepower and the more powerful with 175 horsepower. Equipped with lower trims, the 1.4-liter TSI is a great engine, returns very good fuel consumption for gasoline, and has enough power to drive a large SEAT without noise.
The smaller diesel engine is equipped with a six-speed manual or DSG two-clutch automatic transmission. The guide has a precise sliding motion and the clutch pedal is not too heavy. The most efficient SEAT Alhambra is a 2.0-liter Eco-motive diesel version with 148 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission. Regardless of the trim level, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions will be slightly higher when this engine is paired with a DSG automatic transmission. SEAT Alhambra should not be too expensive to insure. Both 148-horsepower versions sit in groups of 20-22 depending on the trim level, while the more powerful 175-horsepower models have a 25-group rating.
2021 Seat Alhambra Safety
Safety is a big factor when you choose a family car, and the Alhambra initially scored a maximum of five stars in Euro NCAP crash tests. The five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP assures the family car that the Alhambra will prove its worth as a worthy choice as it has plenty of equipment at any trim level. Safety features include seven airbags, stability control, brakes, tire pressure monitor and hill holding feature, as well as a fatigue detection system. The second row of seats has Isofix child seat mounting points. Even the simplest model 2021 Seat Alhambra gets sensors for the front and rear cars, which is convenient for such a large car.
