2025 VinFast FV9
The 2025 VinFast FV9 (formally VinFast VF 9) is an electric full-size crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by VinFast. The 2025 VinFast FV9 full-size model debuted as the largest in the electric crossover range, along with the smaller VF 6 and VF 8 models, and is the Vietnamese manufacturer’s first such vehicle. The VF 9 is characterized by a massive silhouette with a length exceeding 5.1 meters and acquires an avant-garde stylized silhouette with a two-module window line as well as narrow headlight strips and taillights consisting of Matrix LED lighting.
VinFast competes with SUVs from other start-up automakers like the Rivian R1S and offerings from established brands like the upcoming Kia EV9. The 2025 VF9 is roughly the size of a Kia Telluride and offers three rows of seating in its well-equipped cabin. The passenger cabin has been kept in a minimalist design and has gained a huge, 15.4-inch touchscreen that, thanks to its integration with the instrument panel, displays not only multimedia system indicators but also onboard computer and speedometer information.
The VinFast VF 9 is offered as a dual-motor model consisting of a 106 kWh capacity battery that produces 402 hp (300 kW; 408 PS). The vehicle will be able to travel approximately 482 kilometers (300 miles) on a single charge. Power-adjustable heated faux leather seats are standard, but luxury Plus trims add genuine leather upholstery, a massaging feature, and second-row captain’s chairs.
2025 VinFast FV9 : Interior
The FinFast VF9’s cabin looks quite high-quality in the photos, it has a three-row layout and a design that would not suit an Audi. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard and features an air ionizer that helps cleanly remove odors from the cabin; With the Plus trim, a third climate control zone is added for the rear passenger compartment, which can put your foot under the rear bumper and the electrically operated rear liftgate will open hands-free.
The large 15.6-inch display mounted on the dashboard serves as an infotainment touchscreen as well as a digital instrument display, a design similar to that on the Tesla Model Y. The head-up display also projects critical information onto the windshield in front of the driver. Those who do not like the idea of looking to the right to follow the speed will be able to access this information directly. A voice assistant is included, allowing users to interact with the system without touching the screen. There are other features to help pass the time while charging, like built-in video games and an e-commerce service embedded in the software.
2025 VinFast FV9 : Engine
All models come with the same all-wheel-drive electric powertrain consisting of two electric motors for a total of 402 horsepower. VinFast estimates the VF9 should hit 60 mph in as little as 6.3 seconds. The VF9 will only be available with a 123.0 kWh battery pack. The EPA estimates the VF9 Eco can go up to 330 miles, but that number drops to 291 miles for the Plus model.
VinFast says the VF9 can charge from 10 percent to 70 percent in 35 minutes. The EPA has yet to provide an estimate for the VF9’s fuel economy figures; He hopes the VF9 will take the 75 mph highway fuel economy route to test its real-world efficiency.
2025 VinFast FV9 : Safety
